"2488 Neo Gig Bag"

I don't plan on hauling my Neo around much at all but simply needed something in which to store the unit where it would be safe from my kids doing damage or my wife's cat peeing on it. This bag will certainly do that trick. There's a little pocket on one side that is convenient to store the power cord and my track sheets, too. The shoulder strap is also a nice touch. The one gripe I have is that the zippers on it are destined to break. They feel cheap and too often they catch along the way and I know there will come a day when the little die-cast zipper handle will detach into my hand. However, as I mentioned, I won't be hauling my Neo around much so no worries. If you plan on taking yours around town with you, be wary of this one flaw.

"Fine product, not quite perfect"

Does the job perfectly, except for a kink in the zipper that hasn't actually failed. I also own other World Tour gig bags, all have worn well. For my 2488 MkII, I also tried a Gator 2118 (21x18x6) and Gator 2519 (25x19x8). Gators are more than 3-4" oversized in width and the Tascam 2488 is 22x14x6. It swims in the 2519, fits fine in the 2118. A bit more expensive than World Tour, and I've never had the zipper-kink or any other failure in my Gator.

"Great case- lousy zippers"

For the money these are great cases but for goodness sakes guys- fix the zippers! They are such a pain to get zipped and unzipped that they would deter me from ever buying another World tour case.
