"Great Gig Bag"

I ordered the 20mm Gig Bag because I don't play out anymore, I just play in my small studio in my garage so the Gig Bag was a great choice. This Gig Bag is made of heavyweight material and should hold up for years to come. My Gretsch 5422TDCG fits in it perfectly. It has plenty of room for storage and is well padded so your ES335 style guitar will fit perfectly in this bag. If you don't have the cash for a hard shell case, go for this Gig Bag. You'll be glad you did. As always zZounds got my purchase to my house on time and in great shape. zZounds is top notch and I buy all my gear from zZounds.

"it's pretty great, the technology of the moving metal parts (the zipper), they even included a handle, which really helps when I"

i hope to keep it forever, or maybe I will give it away to someone that buys my guitar. if it was lost or stolen, i would have to buy a guitar too (since currently I am keeping my guitar inside it). after I buy another guitar from ZZounds, I would then save up to buy another Gigbag.
Sound
it has kinda a fuzzy sound when you run your fingers over it slowly. the tone changes alot when you run your fingers faster on the bag. i personally like the sound when you play with it slowly. it is a perfect match and is compatible with my red 335. it looks about the same in different settings...i took it outside, in the kitchen, and the front room, and it pretty much looks the same. if you rubbed tung oil on the outside i am sure it will sound different, but I don't know if it would be better. i wouldn't want to rub tung oil on such a nice gigbag.
Features
the best feature is the zippers move. if you move the zippers just a little bit, you can put all kinds of stuff inside it. i believe that most of the parts were made from metal and plastic, i like this selection from the manufacturer because making it out of wood or jello would either make it too heavy, or just plain awkward to carry.
Ease of Use
as i mentioned earlier, just rubbing it, makes a great sound, kinda like the old sun records. it's pretty easy to use, with a quick learn curve. i spend just a few hours with it, and learned how to use without instructions. because of its shape, i can't really use with my other products, i would have to purchase anoth 6-8 more es-335's to make it more compatible with my other products. it is playable, and for the price it sounds great. however i would not take it to a gig without another backup to play.
Quality
it is made well and has two sides which can be played. i haven't played it in the rain yet to see how reliable it is, however, I hope to do so real soon. How Long? approximately 40 inches long, (not sure how long it would be in millimeters if I went overseas). mechanically, it's great the farther you move the zipper, the farther it opens up for carrying big stuff. cosmetically? I didn't find any in the pocket of the gigbag.
Value
this is great for carrying alot of stuff, however if you put a guitar inside, their is not much room left for my other stuff. so I may buy another gigbag to carry my other stuff.
Manufacturer Support
i have not yet written them to thank them for making this gigbag for me. I am sure anyone that makes guitar gig bags must be friendly. i did not write to them yet asking for help with my problem. I'm sure they are too busy building guitar gig bags to help little old me with my problems, but that's okay because I have a doctors appointment coming up real soon to help me solve my problem.
The Wow Factor
it's real pretty , it makes me play better when I look at it.
