10 out of 10Feature:
My guitar is 5 or 6 years old at this point and I'm sure they've changed the electronics that come in it, but it sounds great plugged in. The one feature I purchased the guitar for was the xlr jack... I can plug straight into the sound board at church...but you still have to plug something into the 1/4" jack to fool the preamp.
Quality:
I love my guitar. I also bought a hard case for it, and honestly they've both taken a beating over the years. My brother is the "real" guitar player in the family. He owns two Taylors and I'd be lying if I said I couldn't tell a difference, but is it $800 worth of difference? I think not... plus he babys his and I beat the crap out of mine... I bought this guitar because I thought I could never realistically need a better guitar than this one... I play at my church weekly and this guitar is so much more than I bargained for... Just buy it.
Value:
Are there better guitars out there... yes but for the money, this one's hard to beat
Desirability:
There's nothing exceptional about the way this guitar looks... I mean I like it, but it's pretty plain for a dreadnaught cutaway.
Sound:
Sounds great...especially with new strings. The quality of the guitar stands out in that I can play light strings and still get a nice full tone.
Ease of Use:
This guitar plays extremely easily. When I bought this guitar I didn't play bar chords, and I thought I never would... but once this guitar they were no problem to learn. I have been playing it for over 5 years and have never messed with the factory set up.
Overall:
I'll keep this guitar until it won't play anymore.

10 out of 10Feature:
Mine has an older preamp. It is functional, uncomplicated, and effective.
Quality:
This thing is built like a mack truck. Not a sissy guitar you have to be afraid of playing at a gig.
Value:
Price. Warranty. Sound. As good as it gets.
Desirability:
Just because they sell a lot of guitars, and some at a low cost for entry-level players, that doesn't mean they are bad guitars. It may not have the ooh and aah factor of a Martin or Taylor, but I, for one, will wear the Washburn brand on the peghead of my guitar proudly. I like getting by a little cheaper in performance and keeping the more expensive guitars at home, where expensive furniture belongs.
Sound:
I can't imagine finding a guitar at this price level that sounds better. Period. I get compliments from longtime musicians on how this guitar sounds both unplugged and plugged in. They are amazed to learn I have not customized it any way (other than dropping an anti-feedback rubber plug into the sound hole when using the pickup/preamp)and are blown away when I tell them how little I paid. For the money, this is a ten. I only give it an eight because it naturally is eclipsed by guitars that cost many times over what this one costs. As for playing it unplugged, the solid top has aged well over the last two years. It is very responsive. If you barely touch the strings, it thumps. The low end decays quickly, so it has initial bottom end thunder without muddying up the high mids. It is bright like mahogony sides and back are supposed to be, so finger-picking sounds great. I usually don't even use a pick when strumming it unplugged. For a guitar with a cutaway, at this price, to sound this nice unplugged is amazing to me.
Ease of Use:
Good all-around guitar.
Support:
OK. This is why I wanted to rate this guitar. The weird thing is that it broke. Yes, I know I just said it was built like a mack truck. I stand by that. But somehow the bridge/saddle part of it cracked in a very strange way. I have to assume it was something wrong with that piece of wood. Washburn FIXED it. They stood by their warranty. They were quick, courteous, and professional. They answered the phone. They answered questions. It was a pleasant experience all the way around.
Overall:
I recommend it.

10 out of 10Feature:
The electronics and tuner are great. I wish it had a strap peg behind the neck (I don't like tying the strap at the neck). The wood has a nice sound.
Quality:
Seems pretty solid. The finish is consistant (black). No loose parts or buzzing. Seems like it will last though I wouldn't want to drop it too much.
Value:
This is one of the best ACoustic/Electrics for the money. In fact better than some that sell for 2-300 more.
Desirability:
It has a nice cutaway, and great sound. Solid spruce top, tuner, and looks nice. I have no sexual attraction to acoustic guitars. (now Electrics!)
Sound:
Played acoustic it is warm, brite and loud. A nice even tone for a guitar in this price range. The electronics give you a great variety of tone choices and the built in tuner is easy to use and accurate. It covers many styles and records really nice.
Ease of Use:
The frets are just right and it didn't need a set up. Very easy to play.
Support:
No Idea.
Overall:
Overall for the $$$ It would be hard to beat. Great guitar.

10 out of 10Feature:
It's a guitar, it's got strings, what else?
Quality:
It looks beautiful, feels beautiful and sounds beautiful. Can't go wrong for the price
Value:
Like I said, I did the research and found this guitar the best for sound and feel
Desirability:
It's super sexy in Black (i have black) and it shines and sounds like sex on toast
Sound:
When I was considering buying a semi electric, acoustic guitar, I tried out many different ones at my local store (here in NZ).
I found that for looks, feel and sheer sound, nothing else came close. Even other guitars that were twice the price.
Support:
Well haven't needed it really
Overall:
The best guitar you can get for a good price and out performs other more expensive guitars with ease

10 out of 10Feature:
Overall the guitar's design, appearence, quality of workmanship, materials used and sound are more than I had expected. The main feature of the guitar is : I bought the "Left Handed" version.
Quality:
What a beautiful instrument. The quality is very good, no blemishes in fit or finish. I carefully checked the intonation and am impressed with the accuracy and feel of the fretboard. considering the cost of the guitar especially a "Lefty" I am very pleased.
Value:
Great "Bang-for-the-buck" especially if compared to other available similar products.
Desirability:
This was bought to satisfy my need for a "True-Left-Handed-guitar" in the price range I had allowed. The natural color of the spruce top with mahogany back, sides and neck with the white trim is nice but I'm to old to remember what "sex appeal" is.
Sound:
My lack of guitar playing experience limits my judgement as to the compatability with other live insturments but it performs quite well with my electronic keyboard playing/recording.
Support:
I found a little difficulty trying to register for warranty on line so called Washburn and a pleasant , very helpfull gentleman answered all questions I had about the instrument.
Overall:
My initial search for a "Lefty classical guitar" was sadly dissapointing whe I found that Washburn evidently does not produce a nylon strung quitar for left handed folks. So I compromised and purchased the D10SCELH acoustic/electric cutaway.

5 out of 10Feature:
the body of the guitar seems very solid, the best thing going for this guitar... the tuning pegs and equis preamp is not good.
Quality:
the guitar itself is fine, but the pegs and preamp are not of good quality. you get what you pay for.
Value:
you get what you pay for.... this is a good beginner guitar
Desirability:
aesthetically the guitar looks good. nothing to brag about...
Sound:
you def. should use this w/ an amp if you're giggin.... the preamp system is not good. the sound is low and semi rich, so if you're looking for a sharp bright sound, this is not the guitar for you.

9 out of 10Feature:
Appreciate the ease of changing the battery and the dual inputs are great. Preamp is nicely setup and accesable
Quality:
Great finish on mine (black) feels solid as a rock and the tuners are the smoothest I've seen.
Value:
Buy it...NOW. If there is a better guitar for the buck I'd be shocked
Desirability:
It's flat out BEAUTIFUL to anyone who appreciates the Acoustic look.
Sound:
Fantastic, a nice mellow yet strong sounding guitar wheter plugged or unplugged.
Support:
Havent needed any
Overall:
I may someday buy a "better" guitar but I cant imagine I'll ever put this one away. I learned to play on an solid body electric, moved to a straight acoustic and now have found what I was looking for.
