Sound: I just bought this amp. I have played it twice now in practice with my band. First of all, the distortion sounds you can get are never ending. Any type of distortion you want you can find in this amp. I gave it an 8 for lack of a good (loud) clean sound. The 4 clean amp models are pretty good if you don't require lots of volume. Feature: Almost too many! Look, I just don't give 10's. Plus the footswitch should not cost 60 bucks! Ease of Use: A little complicated at first. Once over the manual (or included quickstart guide) & you're good to go. Quality: No issues so far. Have owned less than a month. Value: Good value I'd say. Except for the 5 button footswitch. At 60 bucks it makes the package a little pricey for a 30 watt combo amp. Manufacturer Support: N/A The Wow Factor: This thing really looks cool! Overall: I expect to use this amp for quite awhile. I expect to gig with it. It is plenty loud on all of the high gain selections. My only gripe is that when you bring the amp up in volume on the clean channel to be equal to that of your high gain settings, the clean channel does distort a little. Perhaps some more fiddling is in order?

Sound: I'm not going to be one of those people who rate the amp 10 out of 10 on everything, that's just unrealistic. But what I can say for this amp is that it has the best sound I've ever heard out of a $600 amp... heck, even a $2000 amp!! I've played 6505's, 6505+, and Mesa's, and honestly, this is right up there with them! Unlike 6505's, the 333XL Delivers a nice, warm tone. Unlike the 6505 which to me sounds very harsh and trebly. I'm using this head with my Peavey Valveking Cab (Which is one of the worst cabs out there!) and it sounds phenomanal! Over all, this sound would be worth paying double as much.. atleast! Has a nice Fender-ish tone on cleans, but can get 'Teh-BrOOtalz' tone as well! I play Deathcore and hardcore metal, but also enjoy some nice cleans and crunch as well :) Feature: The feautures on this amp are like most, but with a few little extras. One great thing is the included footswitch. Unlike alot of brands (*cough* peavey). Some of the other bonus features include a built in Noise gate, reverb assigned to all three channels, and much more. Ease of Use: I got this amp at 1oclock today. And by 1:20, I already had this thing setup to my liking. Has alot of knobs, but dont let that scare you. Just mess around till you get a disirable tone! Quality: The reason I only gave it a 7 was for some of the cheaply made parts on this amp. All the Chrome on the amp is actually plastic, which honestly isn't tha big of a deal, especially considering the price your paying. The other thing is that the knobs feel very cheap. So far they are fine, I'd just preffer a more solid knob. Value: Now THIS deserves a 10!! After hearing this amp, I'd be willing to pay double for this amp, easily! Great amp, and worth every penny! Manufacturer Support: I rated a 9, though I have no expierence with them at all yet, and I hope I never will! The Wow Factor: Great appearence for sure! From the fake chrome, to the massive size of this head, it makes you want to shred for hours! Overall: This is beyond what I expected to get. If you play Hard-rock/ metal... or any genre for that matter, get this amP! You will not be dissapointed!!!

Sound: I've just scratched the surface on experimenting with all the presets, but there are an infinite number of variations that can be set by tweaking the preset settings. I like the sound compared to my old "transistor" amp from the 80's. I own the tiny Vox DA5, so I was confident that I would like what the VT30 would do. Feature: The main controls are great. I wish it had a line out and/or speaker out. A mic input would also be nice (my DA5 has a mic input). It's a shame that the foot pedal is almost 40% of what I paid for the amp. I guess I don't need it that bad. Ease of Use: Sounds are great and the presets make it easy to find a good setting. I haven't tried wandering too far off into manual land, not have I programmed presets. Quality: Seems very well built. I bought the older VT30 vs the new VT40+ based on some reviews that imply the new ones are cheaply built. I've seen some used ones in the music store, and they look like they got beat up pretty bad, but still worked. I only worry about the tube breaking; don't know how to replace it myself if it did. Value: I was torn by wanting one of the new Fender Mustangs, or a Line 6, but this seemed like the best bang for the buck (i.e. price was low, features high) Manufacturer Support: No experience, so I have it a med-high rating. I went to register online and all sorts of crazy pop ups went off. I hope I didn't catch some malware. The Wow Factor: I like the Vox retro look, chrome grill and all. I know that they changed it to black for the new versions, but I wanted this look. Overall: I think the 30 watt will suffice for me (basement player with easily annoyed family members). If I ever start playing gigs, I may wish I'd sprung for the VT100 (or get one used for cheap).

Sound: The sound is pretty good. I would like a distortion thats heavier than the US Higain, but less heavy than the UK Modern. The clean stuff is good, it is just hard when the gain is down and you want to get some volume. The red-hot overdrive is the best, you can get a great tone out of the AC 30. The effects are pretty good too. The chorus, reverb, and delay are the best. You can get a great clean sound with the chorus and reverb together. Feature: A lot of features, such as 11 amp models and 11 effects. The level control is also nice, because it allows you to get to that "sweet spot". Ease of Use: Pretty easy, it is just that the making your own preset thing is hard and confusing. Quality: I had a problem that when I turn on the amp, for example, I could have the setting at US Higain, but the sound that comes out is a AC 30. I could also have the volume 1/4 of the way up, but it sounds like it is 1/2 off the way up. I got mine cheaper because their was a problem that was fixed, so it might be just mine. Value: Great for the money. Good practice amp with realistic modeling at a great price. Manufacturer Support: Haven't dealt with VOX. The Wow Factor: Looks like the famous VOX amps. Overall: This is a good amp for small gigs and practice, when you need and want good tone. I might try a Line 6 of something else if anything happened to it.

Sound: Sounds really good, for a small amp. The vintage and boutique tones sound better than the high gain stuff. The high gain stuff is to fizzy. I have been playing semi professionally for 22 years, This things sounds amazing for the price, and has as many features as you would need. Feature: Tons of features, whether they are all usable is debatable, but for what I am going to use it for, (small gigs and weddings) it is perfect. This thing should be sold with the foot controller though. You have to buy it separate and it is the only controller that will work with it. Ease of Use: Now that I know how to use it it is not bad, but I actually(heaven forbid)had to read the manual to be able to grasp all the features. Little bit of a learning curve to adjust effects parameters, but not to bad. Quality: All the screws that hold this thing together were loose when I pulled it out of the box. I think they cut cost on this version. also the line out for headphone/recording is just a 1/8 inch jack now. How hard would it have been to keep the 1/4 inch. The jack seems really cheap like if I push my head phones in to hard I am going to push through the pannel on the amp. Really lame that they did this. The AD series all had normal 1/4 line out jacks. Value: yes overall this thing sound great, is not overpriced and has tons of features. Manufacturer Support: no, haven't dealt with them

Sound: This amp has very good sound. Very responsive and articulates picking well. There are so many sounds you can get with this. I laughed to myself as I had my tele sounding just like Randy Rhodes one minute and Angus the next. I use it for home practice only. Feature: Has a ton of features and effects. Love the delay and phaser on this thing and separate reverb knob is a plus too. Wish it had a built in tuner. They should have included foot switch. Other than that, has all you need. Ease of Use: Has many preset channels to get you going right away. There's also a setting to make the amp adjustable without presets that makes it like a regular amp. Switching between effects is easy with a control knob. You need to read manual to show you how to dial in individual effects parameters. Kind of like a digitech merged with a tube amp. Pretty cool. Quality: It seems solid and well built. Lots of push buttons. Only time will tell how well it holds up and I haven't had it that long. This amp is 30 watts so for small venues it would probably work. Value: Excellent value. Well worth the money. To me , it's one of the top sounding amps in this range. Manufacturer Support: Haven't dealt with. The Wow Factor: As far as these combo amps with effects, I'd put it up against any of them. You will definitely find a sound you like. It has something special. Overall: I'm pleased with this amp overall. I always wanted a Vox amp after trying one years ago and it is worth having. I play classic rock and 80's metal and it works with all of it and more. My Fender Blues jr. just got parked in the other room. Has a deeper, throaty sound that makes you smile.

Sound: Well my guitar sucks, so I thinks that's why there's a little background noise (yes, the Noise Reduction is a 0/to the right), but it clearly sounds like Metallica, not as wonderful a full tube amp ofc. but close anyway ! Feature: All the amps and effect are godlike and has a wonderful sound :) Ease of Use: The effects etc. are friggin complicated .. In the start ofc. Quality: Never had any trouble .. Works better perfect .. Value: To the price - A LOT better than all the others ! Manufacturer Support: Had a little trouble - waited 14 days before i got it. .. Not VOX' fault tho .. (.. Damn "In stock" bullsh%t !) The Wow Factor: It's sexyyyh ! Overall: I plan to own this in many years and for live shows as well.
