Feature:
Not much to a wah... at least it has the 9V adapter which the 847 does not. Vox has put higher quality components and true by-pass switch.
Quality:
I hate to give anyone a 10 for quality, because there are always improvements that can be made. However, it is built very nicely and good components does keep this unit quiet. Built like a very pretty tank.
Value:
This pedal is about $50 more than the best Dunlop. It is a little steep! But I know I will buy one anyway.
Desirability:
I really want one...
Sound:
Let start by saying that I am a musician of 15+ years. This is clearly the best wah I have tried to date. I tried every cry baby model at one time (including the hendrix model which was very disappointing), and the 848 Vox Clyde had the cleanest wah with a full freq sweeps. it is very quite and clear sounding. Doesn't seem to add any color to your tone. Second to this pedal was the Dunlop with the fasel inductor which I would rate a 7 in sound. If you are looking for a muddy wah sound, this is not for you.
Overall:
If the price was about $30 cheaper it would get a 10 across the board.
