Feature:
The features? Incredible sound that makes you want to play for days.
Quality:
It seems built like a tank, and looks great, no loose connections.
Value:
Buy it today. Or don't, because I will be perfectly content to sound better than you if you don't. I will gladly get rid of all my other distortion pedals and keep this one.
Desirability:
It being a "signature" pedal is actually a deterrent for me, but it sounds amazing. I bought it for my job, and was blown away. It looks great, but the sound is what made me want to take it home.
Sound:
The thing sounds incredible, straight out of the box. I place a MXR/CAE boost behind it for volume on solos, and it sounds great. It works well with a wah, phaser, flanger, anything I have been able to get my hands on to play it with. I haven't been able to coax a convincing country sound out of it, but I haven't tried really hard, either, because I love what I get, pure rock awesomeness!
Ease of Use:
I plugged it in, set all the knobs at 1 O'Clock and turned up. It sounded incredible, like an awesome tube amp. I have never played through a pedal that instantly sounded awesome. It is simple, and yet there is a great deal of variety able to be achieved in its tone. I compared it to the Steve Vai Jemini pedal, which I have yet to be able to get a decent sound out of, even using "Steve's personal settings" indicated in the instructions.
Support:
I have had no contact with VOX.
Overall:
This is the only distortion pedal I will ever need.
