Feature:
You have to purchase the foot pedal seperate, but it's worth the investment.

Quality:
Other than putting it in a Anvil case, I feel this product will stand up to a lot of wear and tear.

Value:
Great value for the money.

Desirability:
A very good addition to my gear.

Sound:
For a a small package, this amp has a big sound, and is SOOO versatile. From very clean to the "electric razor" sound, and everything in between. This product can produce them all. I love the fact, that I can use this as a preamp, to get the sound I require, and hook it in series to my Legend 50w with 2-12" Celestion speakers to fill a larger venue.

Ease of Use:
Very clear manual, and most of the controls on the panel are self explanatory. A great practice amp, that delivers that great tube sound, at low volumes or even at rehearsals.

Overall:
5-10 years

Feature:
Smart layout and very flexable, with all the controls where I like them. For the price it has more features than you should expect.

Quality:
I don't believe I'd even trust it for a practice! The outside covering is so thin I was regluing it right out of the box. Within three weeks of light use the sound was cutting out if picked too aggressively. By five weeks it cut out so regularly it was of no use.

Value:
A low quality item that can't be relied upon, with no support is never of much value!

Desirability:
Great Vox tone but so cheap and not very repairable. Cute but the skimpy covering steals the appeal.

Sound:
The richness of tone is quite outstanding and is variable enough to cover just about any style of music. It is also very accepting of most any brand of guitar. I say that because each of my various other amps seems to work best with some guitars but not others.

Ease of Use:
Considering how many settings are possible, it is quite straightforward, but you will need the manual for reference.

Support:
Vox washed their hands of all responsibility! They wasted a lot of my time passing the buck and left me with the feeling that their low priced products were sold As Is. Two different technicians (at my own expense) couldn't resolve the cutting out.

Overall:
After heroic attempts to get it working, with no help from Vox, I finally let it go. It has left me soured on Vox! No doubt they have other excellent products but I simply have no confidence that they support their line. So far I've had best success with Fender amps (all tube), and I'm very pleased with Dr. Z For tone, Vox and Korg do an eccellent job, and I own and use several of their boxes but it's not a risk I am willing to take again. If you go this route be sure it's at least through a store that gives their own backup and a clear return policy.

Feature:
The features are great, it has almost too many effect/amp styles. i dont havent even used all of them yet.

Value:
It is the best amp for the money. the marshall solid state 30w sounds pretty good, but dosent have that warm tube sound this amp has.

Desirability:
its an amp...lol...idk what more to say about it. as long as its not hot pink, im ok with it.

Sound:
I would say for the money, the sound is pretty damn good. it has good tone and sustain's my bends alot better than a basic socid state amp.

Ease of Use:
it was a little rough at first, but after i decided to get smart and read the instruction, its been alot easier.

Overall:
nice little amp.

Value:
totally worth it and more

Desirability:
I wouldnt say that its a sexy amp or anything, but better looking than most amps lol

Ease of Use:
Its really easy to use, plug in choose your preferred settings, and you'll have a really great tone that can suit any style of music.

Feature:
The effects are OK, they're not as good as a full effects loop. But the amp has a good usable set of features and effects. Again this amp isn't going to sound like a full blown hand wired tube amp, and again for the money it's a good value.

Quality:
I've had this amp for a few years and its been beat around pretty good, and it still looks and plays like new.

Value:
I played some of the other amps in this price range and at the time this amp was the easy choice of the many in it's price range.

Desirability:
I think the chrome speaker cover looks great, offset by the black housing makes the amp look great. This amp fits in well with my gear, in a place between my Marshal and my Roland cube. I would more than likely buy it again for its solid build, looks and features.

Sound:
The amp produces a wide selection of amp models with a fair amount of usable effects. In its price range I couldn't find one any better. Of course if you want a serious gigging amp you're going to need to spend more than $239.00. I use this as a easy to carry practice amp when a few of my friends and I get together. I also have a Micro-Cube, and I use it for sitting in my studio just to play around with. But the Vox has enough volume and basic effects to get you through playing with a small group, or even a small venue.

Ease of Use:
Ease of use is about as easy as it gets. The amp lets you customize effects with a tap button that gives some real dynamics to the effects. Switching from one modeled amp to another could not be any easier.

Overall:
What can you say about an amp that cost just over $200.00, and includes the sound quality usable effects and rock solid build but that it's a keeper.

Feature:
More accurate effects, modelers and programming options than anything within $500 bucks. Notice I said accurate. If it sounds like garbage, but will let me run ten billion horrible digital effects through bad plywood and a cruddy speaker, that doesn't make it accurate.

Quality:
In the price range, It's tied with Marshall's MG series for solidity and craftsmanship. It has a Celestion speaker in it. I hope the gact that the knobs aren't chrome is something you can see past! I owned that Marshall for two years and, when I used the clean channel with a thick Metal Pedal it sounded good. The limited and unprogrammable effects were good, just very limiting. It had nothing on the Vox and that is it's (the Vox) closest competitor.

Value:
It is one of those rare musical products where the old cliche' about "getting exactly what you pay for," is proven to be right, most of the time. I know what those products are. I make a point of looking, at work, every day. And when I find one, I almost always buy it, on the spot.

Desirability:
A 'newer' grill is attention-grabbing, but not tacky like some other competitors amps. It exudes class, character and your acknowledgement that Vox are here to do far more than re-release AC-15 and AC-30 combos that are rooted in the late 1960's.

Sound:
I give it a 10, relative to what it is and the sounds it is capable of expelling. I work at a retail store that allow us to take home gear whenever we want to demo it and be familiar with it. I really just needed a small amp to jam with a buddy I work with, for the evening. I should note that I have been playing for 20 years, I majored in music, I have played many gigs (although I'm less than fond of bar bands or local scenes) and I am studying Modern Music Engineering, currently. I also teach guitar/bass. My playing time (which is all the time) is divided between plugging into my direct unit and through my computer sequencer, then out powered monitors AND running my Strat through my stompboxes and into a very powerful tube combo. I don't ever use the distortion channel on a tube amp. Metalheads do that. I push tubes w/ fuzz, overdrive and straight out distortion. I know tone back to front. This amp is, without a doubt, far superior to anything else besides the 50 watt or 100 watt version of itself. I ran no effects with a Strat, (v.noiseless singlecoils) and was just astonished that I'd been steering folks towards other products. This amp poops on every Line6, all the way up to the $1500 Vetta! The pre-amp 12AX7 tube must be the clincher. I was very impressed w/ the 'tube output' knob on the back that allowed me to turn it to 8&1/2, but keep the actual volume, Master and gain at very reasonable levels. The clean sounds are crystal clear and the effects are stellar, programmable, and storeable in one of two user preset channels. Combined with the manual channel, that allows you three totally independant (including volume)channels! Most folks don't open the 'starter manual' to realize the effects are totally adjustable for speed, intensity and levels; even if the patch contains two effects as several do. The distortion is great on every level, even for the Line 6 kids. The Metal Distortion Rectifier setting is VERY high gain, yet still warm. I liked to go for a Blackface, Put the tube push knob (on the back) at 9 and the Volume at 6 or 7, with gain at 3 and bring the Master up from 0 until it started sounding identical to Tool with the addition of some Flange/Delay, carefully set to sweep. Sorry they don't give you a footswitch. Marshall are the only ones who do (Fender's modeling amps don't and they cost a fortune). So, spend $20 for the switc or get a universal one at a pawn shop; it will work. Go get this now.

Ease of Use:
A 2nd grader could could deal with it. It plays great straight out of the box, but read the instructions (all of about 10 pages w/ pics) and learn to use two or three buttons and a knob to do whatever you want this to do.

Support:
Haven't needed it. It's very easy to use. It really has so few variables I can't imagine ever needing this unless you wanted to call and thank the company.

Overall:
I will use this as my personal practice amp until I fall apart. If it were stolen or even just crapped out, I would replace it in a second. It is very giggable to, for a club or if used as one of two amps, probably fo your clean sound while using the main tube amp for dirty stuff or things requiring the full rig. And miked up, it is a recording guitarist's dream.

Feature:
as far as feature the amp itself had all the features that are out there at least on other amps as far as effects, but the way it was more than other amps is it combined the stuff that line six does only they chose better amp models to emulate, and added a tube preamp. the only draw back which really isn't major is that it doesn't come with the footswitch.

Quality:
come on it is a vox for crying out loud... the cabinet itself is made very durable nice touch with the metal grill, its gig worthy, road worthy, its lite. the speaker is very loud its almost as loud as my 75 watt line 6 that I hated buy the way. it's a cheap amp but not cheaply made If vox keeps it up their going to run out of business because of the quality they're making...

Value:
for the price this is it...

Desirability:
I really like the design its different from the usual vox amp with brown clothe grill wich I kind of wish it had but chrome is one of my favorite colors. I love the chicken head knobs...

Sound:
the sound of this amp is excellent it sounds pretty accurate to the original amps.

Ease of Use:
this amp is easy to use except I'm still confused on how to get a clean channel or even save the channels, other than that making the channels as you go is easy.

Overall:
you really can't beet this amp unless you go out and buy all the amps it has in it, and then buy the effects, but that would cost you say around $10,000 atleast.

the vinyl finish is not glued well at some points and is very fragile.be careful when you carry the amp.nevertheless,at no point this was any dissapointment to me perssonally since all i want is the very good sounds of this amp.

Value:
worth every cent(i've paid in euros)

Desirability:
although a little non traditional look,i think the aesthetics make it a modern-classic.

Sound:
very good sound.some of the effects effect the quality of sound.had a thin quality clean sound compared with a marshall avt150 probably due to the smaller speaker.returned it and bought the bigger brother 50watts.i think the bigger speaker designed by celestion made a big difference.perfect for live use!!!you won't need another amp for small to medium gigs.dunno for recordings.the corner protectors seem weak and the ply wood used for the amp is a little bit thin.i am afraid to sit on it and play weighing 72 kg.

Ease of Use:
very easy to use after reading the mannual.need 2 hours to try everything and be amazed.

Support:
not any problems till now(own it more than 6 months)

Too bad it didnt come with a footswitch, but any footswitches on the market with dual action and without LEDs will do. (I asked the Vox about it)... The other feature are superb... way enough for an amp..

I've own this wonderful amp for about 4 months now. It is one hell of an amp! With its size, nothing can compare to it. The sound is great! I play mostly metal and Vox's amp wasn't not my less at first. All my friends were all saying: VOX and metal???!!!! Not until and select the higain amp model and crank it half way up....their jaws dropped!!! I love it, great amp models..vintage to modern, great effects... better than any built in amps on the market..

This amp totaly defeats the purpose of getting effect petals. It has about 8 or 9 effects and has a couple more different amp sounds. Its amazing and easy to work. It would be smart if you got the foot switch for this amp for easy access to ur favorite effects by the stomp of your foot.

Quality:
Probibly one of the best buys all year. its amazing and i deffinatly recomed it over any other name brand amp out there.

Value:
this amp is well worth your money. you can get a marshal the has no effects or get this amp that is the same price and has pretty much the same sound and effects that are so easy to use. Its your pick.

Desirability:
The picture on this site doesnt show the sexy side of this amp but once you see it in person it looks like one of the nicest amps you'll ever see

Sound:
The sound on this amp is great. I just got it this mornig and i love it. Its not as good as a marshal or and orange but if u tweek the nobs alittle bit it sounds just the same.

This amp is loaded. It can make almost any sound you want. The "auto-wah" effect is very cool. The amp models are all very different from one another. It also lets you tap the tempo of the reverb, delay, and phaser, making it a VERY versitile amp.

Quality:
This is one solid amp. It has a closed back, so nothing can get accidentally bumped or broken. The speaker is very well protected. The knobs are strong. Everything on this amp is very well made.

Value:
I got this at a guitar shop for 150 bucks. I looked at countless other amps for WAY more that STILL couldnt do everything this amp could. This isnt some rinky dink amp with a bunch of so-so effects crammed into an underpowered amp. This is the real deal.

Desirability:
I wanted this amp the minute i set eyes on it. The front of the amp is very shiny, and all the knobs are very simple. This is one pretty amp.

Sound:
This Amp is awesome sounding. It can sound great whisper quiet or blaring loud. There are so many effects on this amp. Just buying all the effects on this amp would be more expensive then the amp itself. This amp can compete with amps 3x as expensive.

Support:
Never had a problem with this amp.

Overall:
If this had anymore bang for the buck, it would explode. This is such a versatile amp. From crazy distortion to gloomy effects to super clean solos to whatever you want to do, this amp can do it. I highly reccomend this amp for anyone, beginner to accomplished.
