Feature:
Great looking grill cloth and knobs situated on the front make for easy tone adjustmants. 3 handles make carrying it not too bad even though it's 76 lbs. Sturdy 2 button metal footswitch for channel switching. Best feature is tone. The AC50CP2 sounds sweet like an AC30 on the clean channel but can get very crunchy marshall distortion on channel 2.
Quality:
This Vox is made in China, and isn't as solid as a USA made Mesa Boogie amp but it's every bit as solid as a Marshall, Peavey, Laney ect
Value:
Vox Ac50CP2 is the best bang for buck new 50 watt tube amp out there right now.
Desirability:
Nice vintage looking amp, plus it has a matching extension cab that can be purchased at a fair price.
Sound:
Great clean channel! This amp can do blues and classic rock, but the AC50CP2 also has enough gain for more distorted classic metal and punk rock too.
Ease of Use:
Easy to use and simple to dial in many great tones.
Support:
No opinion haven't had to deal with them yet. Amp works great!
Overall:
The only thing I would have added to this amp would be some built in tremolo like the AC30 has, but the fact that it has a high gain channel unlike the AC30 actually makes it more useful for me since I play heavier music. I just love built in tremolo on a Vox, but the features that this amp does have are fantastic. Sounds just as nice as a pricey vintage Marshall or Orange at 1/2-1/3 the price which rocks!
