The build quality is excellent and considering the power supply, it does very well. I am pleased with it and consider the price to be very good as long as you have realistic expectations!

I purchased the Vox AC1RVBASS amp for a handy practice amp when I didn't want to go down to my studio. I hooked it up, played about a dozen notes through it, and packed it up for return. The sound was what you would expect from such tiny speakers. I was really disappointed. I was fooled by the good reviews I had read, and took a chance on it. ZZounds was great, however, and I had no problem at all returning it. If you want to use it as a headphone amp, I think it would be great. It has a good rhythm section built in. It just wasn't what I needed.

I was expecting something along the lines of a DA5, what I got was a toy that doesn't do anything well. I guess Vox's market on this one was grandma buying the toddler something cause they were interested in music.

Not worth it, No sound, use that money and add 100.00 or so and get a decent practice amp. I tried it and had to pay shipping to return it so Im out 12.00 but still pleased with zZounds customer service and will be a regular customer there awsome"

Was looking for a battery powered amp for a bass guitar. Incredibly disappointed with the sound - it was metallic, "tin"y, and very flat.
