Sound: The sound quality was fine when it worked. We purchased this unit for professional use and had horrible problems with it being unable to deliver a reliable video signal. After replacing the unit under warranty, we gave up on this model and went to the 888kII (VocoPro) which works fine even though it has fewer features. Feature: Awesome features, it could have been a great professional platform if it could handle club use and deliver video. Ease of Use: It was easy to set up and use, no issues there. Quality: We have to believe that it was poorly manufactured. It had great features, the unit simply wasn't reliable. Manufacturer Support: Support was good, we were able to exchange one unit and return the second one for credit on the 888KII. The Wow Factor: Very "sexy", has awesome features for the professional KJ, except of course that it isn't dependable. Overall: Not dependable.

Overall: It is an exact replacement for another VocoPro CDG-8900 PRO Dual CD/CD+G Player. Unfortunately I'm having similar malfunctions that I had with the old one. It doesn't consistantly "read" the CDG discs. I have to stop the player, eject the disc and turn it in the tray, sometimes several times. Also the left side player keeps locking up part way through the song, which is embarrassing, to say the least.
