My main reason for buying the UAD satellite was really for the Manley Passive and Fatso and boy is it worth every penny. Everything else was icing on the cake. Firstly, the UAD takes some serious loads off my CPU. Secondly, the sound of these plugins are amazing. And you get multiple instances! Many out there debate as to how close does it emulate the real hardware...I was in the same camp, but in the end it all comes down to: does it sound good? And YES, these do! Stock plugins are great, but the UA plugs take it to the next level and impart that analog vibe.
