Incredible piece of gear that does EXACLTY as promised. The newer version has done away with the need for a wall wort and the volume/gain feature. I have the newer version of the Duplicator (v.II) , and I can attest firsthand that not having to deal with volume adjustments (more like level adjustments.. green, yellow, red) is much preferred. I am in a 3 piece hardcore thrash punk band that is EXTREMELY loud due to.. well, that's the way it should be, shouldn't it?? Yes. The drummer hits hard, and we compensate - if I'm honest. Anyhow, we all sing at least back-ups with myself taking most leads. This pedal with even the base level SM58 will do wonders for your place in the mix, base-level effx. (reverb/delay), and keeping you together and LESS pitchy, if you will. I have not seen a single video or written review for this effect with regard to a band such as mine where the vocals can go from being sung to intense screams (not screamo..don't get it confused now) and gang vox. If you want it, get it. These also work very well without the tone button engaged. You still get the delays/reverbs and correction without the tone button on. Very well thought out little masheen, man.

Does exactly what it says! The only thing it doesn't do the hard tune effect like stated, but does gently pull the voice to correct pitch.

I've had this pedal for a couple weeks now and I really love it!!! I'm not a singer but I play one in a hard rock band and this thing really helps me out. I love the Hall and Echo setting with the correction bout 3/4 the way up and the tone button on. And with the gain button on the side I can get louder through my pa, and people said they could hear and unstand me better. Love this Pedal!!!

Musical Background:

I play guitar and lead vocals for a original hard rock band called Gorilla Spank

I'm a bass player that sings back up and some lead in a full band and also in an acoustic duet. For a long time now, I've had people tell me they can't hear me very well. The other lead singer just has a louder voice and cuts thru better than mine. So I thought I'd try this pedal to at least boost my vocals, it WORKED! So many people come to me now saying I sing better - I don't think I do, I think they just hear me better. It's still new to me, still trying to figure out why settings are different on different systems, although it is easy to use. I love the effects and the auto tune!! Love this pedal, so glad I got it!!

Musical Background:

Bass player for 10 years, singing for 4 years. Playing professionally for 10 years.

Musical Style:

"TC Helicon Mic Mechanic...not bad"

The simplicity of the pedal is it's most attractive feature. It's an ideal choice for the vocalist on a budget. The reverbs are nice and the tap tempo feature on the delay could prove it's usefulness in the right setting. The Tone button (compression, de-essing) would be the nicest feature if it didn't cause so much feedback in live settings. I often find myself having to pull the mic gain on the pedal way back or turning off the Tone button altogether to avoid the feedback. All in all it has proven to be a worthy purchase to have hands on control of your space and vocals in a live setting.
