Sound: Finally - Taylor has produced a CE guitar that compares to a Martin D-standard series. Unbelievably balanced sound and the famous Taylor neck and action. Feature: The expression system produces accurate acoustic replication - controls a bit sensitive - just need to play with it to find your tone. You can turn on/off various internal pickups and dial to taste for bass/treble/volume. I play a Martin HD28 w/Fishman Matrix 2 thru a Fishman Aura - but there is no need to use it for the Taylor, the expression system is just great. Ease of Use: Expression system is fantastic. easy to use and undestand. Quality: Taylor - quality speaks for itself...guitar was flawless. Value: I think for $3500 you can't find a better guitar anywhere. I used to have a D-45V and this 916ce kills it. Overall: I would never part with this guitar...I finally mean it when I tell my wife ...this is the last guitar I will buy.
