I absolutely love this guitar. I was torn, because I also have a 414ce, and the 414 sounds just as good as this one, but the 514 to me is sexier. I love the sharp cutaway as opposed to the rounded ones. I love the inlays. They are not too fancy or over-the-top like some of the higher-end Taylors. The only thing I am not crazy about is the Elixir strings. I like a lighter gauge, brighter string. But the thing abotu strings is, you can change them. For me, this feels like the perfect balance between beautiful, fancy, and plain and simple. It is not over-embellished at all - just plain beautiful. I absolutely love it.

Musical Background:

I play guitar, bass guitar and keyboards. I am not a professional musician; I play at home and with friends mostly.

Musical Style:

I like Classic Rock, Prog Rock, some blues, funk, and definitely hard rock.
