FINALLY! VISTA DRIVERS....AFTER TWO YEARS, TASCAM COMES THROUGH WITH 32 AND 64 BIT DRIVERS It is just a card, but hey, it works if you own a DM 3200 or 4800, so no complains

IT ISN'T APOGEE,

Value:
If you own a DM series mixer and use a DAW, it is a MUST HAVE Where else do you get 24 bit/96khz at 32 in and 32 out simultaneously?

Desirability:
It works, and that counts alot in my book (MOTU, you listening?)

Sound:
what goes in, comes out

Ease of Use:
PLUG AND GO

Support:
Plausible Deniability but they will call you back, so I found them to be A-Ok in that realm.

Hasn't failed yet, so no complaints.

Value:
Too expensive for what it does. It should be included in the DM series mixers

Desirability:
Sex appeal? Unless you find circuit boards sensual, or midi cables 'hot', What 'sex appeal' are your referring to?

Sound:
does nothing to the sound save for digitize it at high resolution

Ease of Use:
Install and go. Just make sure you use a good firewire cable. Not too long. Oh, and must use on XP 32 bit or Mac OSX

Support:
Plausible deniability

Overall:
Unless you are running an intel Mac OS X or Windows XP, your stuck. No vista drivers, as of yet.
