Feature:
More than ANY other CD player let alone recorder. It has EVERYTHING I would ever want - EXCEPT word clock in. :( not sure why. Here's one surprise I found that even the Tascam developer at NAB didn't know. Tap the FW or RW search button and it will FF REW 1 inute at a time. VERY cool. Not enough space to tell what this thing does. Our radio network uses them everywhere - even where we don't need a recorder!

Quality:
We've had two players give us some grief, but every recorder unit has worked perfectly.

Value:
Most excellent!

Sound:
Excellent sound. As good as any of Tascam's excellent A/D and D/A converters (like the MX2424).

Support:
I hear they dropped the pro line of CD recorders because they claim they can no longer get the drives from China. Is that true? HOPE NOT. If it is true, then support just dropped to ZERO!

This unit does everything it says it does.
I can copy cd's at 4x the speed with no problem.
And it has XLR inputs and outputs... plus seperate inputs and outputs for both the cd player and burner... and a combined output...

Features and ruggedness you'd expect from TASCAM. From single track recording to CD duplication, this baby does it all. Very well documented. Rock solid sound!
