Feature:
Very good hardware for the price.Rock solid when I am hitting them as hard as I can. So I know they can handle whatever my 11 year old throws at them.
Quality:
Look great ....Sound great...I have always liked Tama & glad they make more affordable sets. This is not a low end drum set....it is built solid & will last a long time! I read that some people did not like the heads...actually I was quite surprised at how good these sound. Heads are cheap and you will probably need to replace them with in a year or two anyway . That would be the time to up grade if desired.
Value:
This is a lot of drum set for the money. Do not buy a used set for a couple of hundred less.... get this new and you won't be disappointed.
Desirability:
Once again.....with price in mind .....this is a great buy. Bass pedal is about an 8 out of 10. Hi Hat is the same.
Sound:
I bought this set for my 11 year old son. As a former drummer that played a big Slingerland 6 pc.set, I am very pleased at how these sound. I spent an extra $200-$250 to get this set over a lower grade beginner set. Well worth the extra cash because he will be playing these for years to come with no need to upgrade unless he turns into a Niel Peart.
Ease of Use:
If you have ever owned a drum set in your life, it will take you about 45 minutes to set this up.I never looked at the instructions, but if you have never put a set together, I would guess it would take about 1:15 - 1:30 hours tops to get it together . Looked at the instructions later and they were very good.
Support:
No problems and do not see anything that could possibly go wrong with this purchase.
Overall:
Cymbals are not the best, but also not the worst I have ever heard... I used to play with 6 Zildjans...so nothing can compare. For an affordable set they are more than adequate .
