It's a Tama. Need I say more?
The Wow Factor
This is a great throne and it basically dethrones the Roc n Soc Nitro, which I also have. The Nitro's seat design makes it a bit problematic as a one-size-fits-all support for the hind quarters. Tama keeps things simple with a firm but comfy round seat. The hydraulix system works like a charm, and, the design offers an impressive range of heights, including extra low. Also, it's Tama, so it's a rock solid design. This is the throne I've been looking for for some time. My only complaint is that the cushioning seems a tad on the stiff side, but the seat is brand new, so that could change over time. Best of all for those gigging, the seat is comparatively light, and, the seat can be dissembled from the throne in seconds. This is "the" seat...

I find this chair to look great but it is very incomfortable. I am selling it to buy another brand. I have been playing drums for 45 years never had this problem. I currently have three drumsets two with DW thrones, one with this Tama. No problem with the other seats.
