I must say that right out of the box, it was set up great. Looks beautiful in black. has that dreadnaught tone but it does not boom like some plywood top guitars do.Very nice.I am in love. This is a great guitar for the money. I give it a 9. out of 10.

I finally was able to buy a new guitar and am so happy it was this black Takamine. Everything about zZounds shipping and handling was excellent, as usual. I am very pleased with the sound and feel of this guitar, it also looks great, but I am changing the tuning buttons to black ones. Thanks for all you do zZounds.

Right out out the box it sounded and played great, my second Tak. Not my last, grab one and see for yourself. I gave it a 4 on features as there was no truss rod wrench and it should have a gig bag or case to protect it. Other than that it's a great instrument..

Guitar sounds great for the price. The preamp is also great. I very much appreciate that the preamp comes with a battery included. One issue out of the box is the first fret buzzes out. My guess is that this is due to a high second fret because there are no other issues with the neck.
