Sound:
I played several 12 strings including ones in the 2k range. This particular instrument produces deep bass tones and vibrant trebles that blend into a rich harmonious sound. The expensive guitars were perhaps separated only by the materials used and the handmade quality. In examining the slots where the 12 strings rest on the bridge I did notice varying degrees of distance between matched strings. This was surprising because the overall workmanship displays attention and to detail. Particularly the grain matches in the woods used. I had to take it back to my dealer in Cavecreek,Az. for some fine tuning to fit my style of playing. While the owner personally worked on my guitar, I picked up 2 of the high end 12 string guitars again and played them. I left the store again with my Tacoma DM912 feeling extremely confident about the instrument and very pleased with my choice.
