I,ve Played Them All...For The Money, This Is "Thee" Amp {Unless You Buy Big Sis The Cali Blonde!}. It Has A Nice Warm, Loud, Clean, Sound. Built Like A Tank. SWR Out Did Themselves This Time. I Rum My Takamine Ef-350MHC Through it{Awesome!}. I Wish It Had Chorus Effect On It But No Problem. It Has A Effects Loop On The Back. If You Want A Great "Lil" Amp, That Can Hang With The Big Dogs And Then Some, You MUST Look At The SWR Cali Strawberry Blonde. I Was All Most Sold On The Fender Acoustic Jr. Amp {Nice Also}, But Once I Fired A Strawberry Blonde I Was Sold. The Sound Is So Rich And Fat {Phat Too}. Fenders Are Nice, So Are Trace Elliots. But Neither Have The Soul And Balls Of A SWR. Yes It Is A Little Spendy, But Can You Put A Price On Happiness? Play One...You Might Just Fall In Love With A Sexy Blonde...

This amp is almost a perfect complement to my guitar, a Taylor 514c with a Fishman active Piezo pickup. The clarity of sound is fantastic, and the unit is small and light enough to transport with no trouble at all. With a little adjustment of the tone controls and aural enhancer, I have been able to dial in the desired sound, be it in my living room, a coffeehouse, or the great outdoors.
All in all, I am very pleased with this amp, and would not trade it for anything else. Thank you, SWR, for a superb product!

Lots of power. Super-clean sound. Study. Well-built. Attractive. Handy tilt-back feature.
I use it to amplify my Washburn electric classical guitar and Bourantas Greek bouzouki. Even sounds great with my fretless Fender Precision bass guitar. Switch in back allows user to switch the tweeter on, off, or attentuated -- an excellent feature.
