Sound: The sound is excellent - growl, depth, bass, mids, and highs! Feature: The Aural Enhancer and the Bass Intensifier are a plus that makes this 400 watt amp sound like a 700 watt amp! Ease of Use: The variety of knobs for dialing in the sound you want is awesome! Quality: The product is well constructed and attractive in appearance. Value: The price on this amp is very reasonable considering it's quality sound and appearance. Manufacturer Support: No problems yet! Just bought it September 12, 2007. Played two weekend gigs and the rest of the band went nuts! The Wow Factor: The Bass Intensifier and the configurations. Overall: All my other amps and cabinets are ampeg. I paired the SWR 400 with one of my ampeg 410 400 watt 4 ohm cabinets and the sound was great. I actually had more definition on my sound from this head. My ampeg heads are very warm sounding but don't have the definition of the SWR in my opinion.
