Feature:
I just bought it not too long ago. Not too many people I know own it (or have ever ventured outside of the world dominated by strats). So, I don't have much of an idea to find something to compare it too. My model is used... the pickups and strings are custom, so that kind of curbs my experience from the original factory model... So far, no complaints. I gave it a 7 because I'm likely to be a little biased... time will tell.

Quality:
I have no idea how old this is or how much it has been modified (customized, repaired, and the like). So there isn't much of a factory standard to judge from... to my knowledge. It seems to be pretty reliable. In the small amount of time I've owned it, nothing has even hinted to be problematic. There was a rattling sound I heard coming from inside the body when I first bought it... turned out to be a forgotten pick (who knew).

Value:
I bought this thing at a discount music store for a mere $180.00. I expected to find one or two possibly mistreated or overlooked gems somewhere inside the store for a low price, but I felt specifically drawn to this model. I had no choice but to take advantage of this opportunity. Plus, its hard enough trying to find a hollow-body period, let alone one for that low of a price.

Desirability:
Not too flashy but catches the eye when surrounded by racks full of srats, les pauls, sg's, and a few telecasters (if your particularly fortunate). Its simple but it leads you to believe that there is so much more to it once you hear it let loose. Think of it like the mature yet not too old man/woman. You can tell that it may look like its past it's prime, but there is a level of experience there that lets you know that your dealing with a real ladies man/cougar (whatever the case may be). There is a level of swagger that CAN NOT be ignored. Its still in its prime and can be expected to stay there if its treated properly.

Sound:
Just what you should expect from a Jazz/blues guitar... mellow, deep, soulful... not necessarily depressing but meant to be easier on the ears.

Ease of Use:
Once again the strings are custom... i heard something about flat-line when they were lightly referred to. When your fingers slide from one fret to another, its practically unnoticeable. This I find to be most pleasing. Great sound quality no matter what I do with it. So far I have a hard time resisting the urge to fall in love with it.

Support:
Don't know, i haven't been put into a situation where I've had to contact them. Besides, I have to take into account the fact that there is some noticeable customization throughout the instrument.

Overall:
I need to spend more time to gain some true experience behind the wheel with this one. I am extremely impressed, but I want to make sure that this isn't just a passing phase. In time I will truly be able to either sing its praises or complain about my stupidity feeling justified in buying a truly cheap instrument (reaping what I've sown).

Feature:
ummm, i have never used one of those bigsby tremolas. i don't know if i would... but i might put one on there.

Quality:
First off... in waiting a few months for one of these- i learned that there are actually two different models. they have the same name, but one is a lighter red stain [with a larger headstock having 2 lines of machine heads runnig parrelel]; and the one i got having a much darker red stain [with a much smaller headstock having 2 lines of machine heads nearly running into each other. [[ = or > ]]. It has a very very nice clear coat finish, thou it appears dark maroon unless it is in bright light. I am not experienced with the wiring in guitars like this, thou i have seen pickups on auction boards that have heavy wires with heavy shielding on them. This guitar has thin plastic coated wiring. Maybe a noise thing? thought i'd mention that- and why only a nine. ouch

Value:
by far. I have been payin bookoo for vintage acoustics. this thing is the bomb.

Desirability:
Its... slim and barebones. no fancy frills. nice nice deep red thou in the sun. over all- it will be on tv just like me. :)

Sound:
First, i have played only acoustic for 12 years. Mostly vintage silvertone. Hey i had to learn about adjusting the pickups after i got this thing. One of the pickup plate/things that goes around the pickups was backwords. It has a medium to medium/light acoustic sound when unplugged; which means it leans alittle more to the electric side [alittle smaller body then others] I run it through effects and it sounds awsome [well for my style]. By the way... The pickups are interchangable with gibsons etc. I don't see the need thou.

Support:
nope, but i want to still give this thing as close to an all around 10 as possible.

Overall:
Well, i might at sometime explore other pickups and wiring possibilties [but hey, this would be a good idea on any gitar]. cause i am not an expert. but if i do- i will buy more of these for the road. cause its a keeper and i am keepin it all the way baby!

Feature:
The only gripe I have is with the switch placement, a little easy to hit while playing, but you get used to it

Quality:
Always keep a backup, no matter what, Hving said that, i use this for everything now, it could be the novelty of having a new toy. The quality is excellent, this is made in indonesia, and someone must be standing over the production guys with a whip!

Value:
For the price, this is a great guitar

Desirability:
I love the deep red, the grain is subdued but it sure shines under the lights

Sound:
I actually like the sound better than my strat when using it for slower numbers, especially in the minor scales

Support:
I dont know, havent needed it

Overall:
I have owned silvertones all my life, my first was a 60's acoustic and I still have an affinity towards them, I will keep this one forever, and would buy another

Sound:
I have an original ES345. It has been a fear for some time that this guitar would get knocked over and damaged. I was looking for a less expensive guitar that I could enjoy without fear of it becoming damaged. I am very happy with everything about the guitar except the volume controls. They are not responsive throughout the ranges. I am playing this guitar thru a RP 200 and a Fender Super Reverb which gives me the sound I desire. I would recommend this guitar very highly for all levels and ever higher if the controls could be upgraded.
