Sound:
I plugged this what I considered a throw-away guitar into my Behringer 30-watt amp; adjusted the gain for "clean" and was blown away by the full bodied sound that came out of the speakers. When I put a little hair on the semi-clean sound, it gave me great sustain and a bottom "chunk" like a Gibson LP. Bought it to take to the beach-park that I visit and figured if the salt air got to it, who cares, but this sounds great right out of the box; the neck is this and smooth and easy to play. A great guitar for a beginner because a comfortable neck and chunky sound will make any beginner want to keep on keepin' on.
Feature:
How about dual tone and volume controls for adjusting for the sounds you prefer...its got 'em!
Ease of Use:
It was set up pretty good right out of the box, but I took a few hours of "fool around time" and palyed with the action, which paid off as it has fast action and a great sound. Caution...don't crank your pickups too close to the strings, it will give you a muddy sound. The pickups are actually set pretty well right out of the box and best done by a pro.
Quality:
I was lucky enough to receive my first one damaged, and got to see what type of materials its made from...not the greatest, but you don't need to know that as this thing rocks the way it is. Whatever they did to make this thing paid off, sounds better than my LP knock-off that costs twice as much plus!
Value:
Buy it, use it, bang it around, play it in the pool (just kiddin')...for the price it is a great deal, fun to play and no worries about, "oh no I just scatched or dropped it". who cares...at this price it made to use, not just look at, although I get a lot of, "Cool Guitar" comments.
Manufacturer Support:
My first guitar came in damaged and support really gave me a taste of what great Customer Service is all about. This company has high standards and truly appreciates the customer base.
The Wow Factor:
Looks Hot...sounds Hot...must be HOT!
Overall:
I'm ordering a second one for display and to replace the one I own now just in case I break it. I own five guitars including a Dean and Fender Strat. This is my cheapest guitar and funny thing is...it has a chunky Gibson sound and a neck that is a cross between a Fender and Epiphone LP, that's why as of this order I will now own two!
