Feature:
I give 9 out of 10 for the following reasons:
A) There are no aux FX returns, actually auxilary effects need to be returend into one of the stereo channels, this is not big deal since there are 10 stereo + 4 mono channels to go around, but it would have been nice to have separate, dedicated aux returns on board.
B)Another nice thing to have, would have been - bus channels.
Coolest features: 2 global inserts for premastering the mix right on the board, 2 Aux sends, 4 inserts on mono channels.
Quality:
Quality of the sound is excelent, quality of board itself is impressive. I personally love that techno-ish look.
Value:
I paid $399 for brand new at Samash (new jersey) and it's totally worth every penny.
Desirability:
If i had bigger setup, i'd definitely get second one, without thinking twice.
Sound:
Actually I have hard time getting some noize out of this unit. That's right, SoundCraft ES is one of the quiet (Noize Free) mixing consoles outthere. Untill I turn the Gain knobs at their Max position, there's no audible noize prezence. Amazing.
Support:
Well i haven't dealt with these guys yet, and I personally assume they can stand up to their reputation.
Overall:
Overall i love this board. Clean sound, good feel, awesome look, lots of channels, global inserts. What's not to like? I highly recommend SoundCraft ES.
