10 out of 10Feature:
Great sounds but it needs a better way to create fills. Using the randomizer just dosen't cut it.
Desirability:
Definitely would get this again if there was a builtin fill creation section.
Support:
Never had to use it so far.

10 out of 10Feature:
Its not only a huge library of 7,4 gig, it also includes a fantastic chaos designer, an 8 track mixer and a huge efeect section to add to all your drum parts seperatly!
Quality:
I use stylus RMX in live 5 and in cubase SX 3.0. The quality of this product is stunning. The only disapointment is that you can't use the effects from stylus at an other track in your sequencer unless you impart the audio file of the track in stylus.
Value:
I bought it for 220$ and I even think that it is way to cheap for such a fantastic program. Its really no money for all the things you get with this program
Desirability:
This purple handy box is very sexy. The program is so easy to work with and inspirational that you have a killer beat within 5 minutes.
Sound:
Absolutely Amazing!!! There aren't any other products that deliver better drumsounds together with the fantastic effects!
Support:
Spectrasonics just came up with stylus rmx 1.5, this is an extreme handy update that includes new effects, new kits and multis, new tuterial movies... and all for free. I love them!!
Overall:
I have search a long time for a program that is able to make those profesional sounding drum tracks, but I finally found it

5 out of 10Feature:
The most amazing feature for me is the chaos. This enables me to create drum fills and variations on grooves. I have used the congas, bongos, with the chaos feature and it is incredible. I would recommend it to anyone. The only thing I wished that it had, was some built in fills. It is also very lacking as far "ethnic" styles: calypso, reggae, latin, african, etc.
Quality:
It rocks!
Sound:
I absoulutely, without a doubt, love this stylus rmx. I am now finishing a CD project, and I have used stylus on every tune. It has an amazing sound bank that sounds exactly like the real thing only on your pc.
Support:
I have called spectrasonics several times and it is almost impossible to get someone to talk to. One time I was on hold for over 1 hour! I am not making it up. If you send an e-mail, someone will get back in touch with you with 24-48 hours. They could improve - big time on their customer service.
Overall:
The only thing that makes me a rate it one step less than perfect is a) customer service
b) lack of fills
c) lack of "ethnic" or world styles of music

10 out of 10Feature:
Easily the biggest selling point of this item - the functionality is ridiculous... I now chop up my other loops into REX format just to import them into this beast...
Quality:
For the price it is unbeatable... i would've liked more hip hop sounds though...
Value:
Expensive, but worth it... you CANNOT get drums like these unless you sample from old records...the reason this product is kickin Elab's @$$ (their obsession product is a copy of this) is because Elab's (and pretty much all other companies) drums have no analogue quality to them...
Desirability:
Eh...
Sound:
The processing on these sounds is quite beyond what most of us can do in home studios. Although hip hop sounds are lacking (in comparison to other genres), the several kits they have are quite impressive, nice bottom end without being muddy.
Support:
Haven't needed it yet!
Overall:
Best piece of software I've bought in a couple years...
