Feature:
Tons of great patchs. Almost all are highly usable.
Quality:
Hey, it's a cd.
Value:
The best value of any refill I've purchased. Worth more than the purchase price. Also, owning this allows you to get a discount on the regular sample version of Sonic Station.
Desirability:
Oh, yes. This will put Reason on wheels. Break away from dance beats and make some ambient, orchestral, soundtrack, fat traditional rock and r'n'b.
Sound:
A great complement to most of what is available for Reason; this is like sticking a JV2080 into it. Lovely "bread and butter" sounds, really great synths, pianos, organs, orchestral. Really has extended the usefulness of Reason for me. I find myself composing in Reason far more than Cubase SX these days.
Support:
The company runs a really great support site, KVR something...
Overall:
You know the feeling when you buy something really satisfying and the gear lust just takes a break? That happened. I haven't bought any other kind of software noise since I got this. I've got the gear to write music. Won't replace dedicated sample sets and monster software synths, but it lets me get inspired without stopping to compulsively tweak a sound so it doesn't distract me.
