Shure SCL5 Earphones Customer Review

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I'm only buying shure. e5cs or this or se430s. I've heard bose senenheisers, sony's this blows all of those away.
Sound
Sonically neutral. Transparancy is unequalled for earbuds. Best sound quality of any eardphones i've ever used. Really shines through when i connect it to my $6,000 2.1 speaker audiophile system. Can't judge it on my guitar cause it cost more than my guitar and my amp but sounds very accurate. Boomy bass at first. Needs break in time, like all expensive shure earphones
Ease of Use
Was uncomfortable at first, but everyone has to try the sleeves to see what fits them best. Make sure you get a seal so you can hear all the bass.
Quality
Very sturdy and excellent build quality. Got snagged twice but it was okay. Thick wires. operating temp 18 degrees to 135 degrees farenheit. 2 year warrantee no questions asked. it'll last more longer than most earbuds
Value
You get more than what you pay for depending on where you buy it. I think i would pay full price.
Manufacturer Support
They go out of their way for customer service. i had a problem when i tore the insulation wire and they gave me a free pair of new headphones, the latest one. Alway courteous and answers questions within 1 business day. You get what you pay for and more.
The Wow Factor
doesnt look as good as the se430 the consumer model. They are similar in sound quality but the scls are better. I have the se430s too.
