Bought this to try out the feel of a headset. Im a guitarist who sings in a rock band. Wanted the freedom. Plugged it in and sounded good from what i could tell. Very comfortable after a little bending of the headgear. Excellent noise rejection. Experimented with this in practice and rehearsal knowing i would purchase a pricier head unit before a show. Purchased the sm35 a week before a show assuming it would be a better product....it wasn't. Terrible on on pops and harsh words using "ch" or "k". Much heavier and bounced around with the slightest head bob. Fooled with the sm35 for days trying to eq the wrongness out of it. I got fed up and plugged my pga31 back in and, like magic, all of those problems disappeared. The pga31 sounds a little boxy but those frequencies can easily be eq'd out. Will purchase more filters along with another pga31 as back up. Highly recommend it. Incredible value.
