Sound: great mids and highs, very clear. lacking in bass though Feature: decent carrying pouch, the right cup can swivel off your ear so you can listen to other stuff. the single sided cord is nice but i wish it was coiled so it wouldn't get tangled as much. Ease of Use: c'mon, they're headphones. Quality: a bit tight at first but give it week to loosen up and fit snuggly, but not too tight, on your head. other than that, they're well made and kinda rugged. appreciated the stitching on the earcup covers so they wont start to peel off as easily as my hd212's Value: i think it should be a bit cheaper because the sound quality isn't that great. Manufacturer Support: im gonna give sennheiser a 10 since i have purchased a replacement cord for my 212's and despite living in Hawaii, shipping was cheap and i recieved my cord quickly and w/ no problems. they have a nice back catalog of all these parts. The Wow Factor: its very cool looking no doubt. you'll want to wear them rather than keep them in the pouch, haha. Overall: yeah the sound isn't as great as i thought it would be, but they're made really well. if they had a little more low end, they'd be perfect and nothing's perfect ofcourse. I own a pair hd212's which are almost like the opposite (more flimsy yet a lot more bassy) and they were coming to the end of the line so i decided to replace them w/ these, thinking i'd get close to the same sound. if you can afford to spend $100, then do so on a pair of better sennheisers which probably won't look as good, but they'll be more balanced than these and the 212's.

Sound: The sound quality is pretty good, but I guess there are better headphones out there. For the price though, it is damn good. Feature: It came with a twist on phone jack adapter and a carrying pouch. Good enough, I guess. The twisting right headphone is a nice feature while DJing. The headphone stays comfortably on my head while listening to the other track through the monitor. Ease of Use: If you have working hands and a head that has two ears, this should be as easy as possible. Quality: So far, the quality looks very good. With all other headphones of this type, you'll have to be careful of not ripping the ear cushion material but the ones on the HD205 look pretty sturdy. Value: Very good price for the quality. Great for starting DJ's or an extra headphone for professionals not looking to spend much. The Wow Factor: It's a rather simple design, which I do like. There are other headphones out there that definitely catch the eye better, but these headphones work great while leaving the flashiness out. Overall: Overall, great product for the price. If you're on a budget, these headphones are a great option.

Sound: These have great lows, midrange and highs. Feature: The larger screw on jack adapter is really nice for the home listner as is the longer cord. Quality: These seem to be made with top quality materials. The leather carrying bag is really nice. Value: For the $$$$$$$ these are a real bargain. I can't imagine more expensive ones sounding any better. Overall: I work as a driver for a 98 bed nursing home taking residents to their doctor appointments..........so I spend the lions share of my time in waiting rooms. I'm not a reader so I love to listen to my Ipod with my rock and roll (especially hard rock) Earbuds are JUNK. There sound is cheap and they fall out of my ears just sitting, I don't know how people can jog with those things. My cheapo Radio Shackers lasted about a year, so my wife insisted I get a "real" set of headphones as my Fathers Day gift. What a wife, not only are these great phones but a real bargain at zZounds. You won't find a better set for the $$$ I read all the reviews on all the sites I could about these phones and they were all positive. Maybe there was one or two idiots who had something negative to say but ignore them. There is nothing bad about these. I used to have to listen to the old ones with the volume all the way up, but with these all the way up is even a bit much for my hard rock head. Purchase these and you too will be writing a review such as this.
