I always wanted to go wireless, but was told to stay with a cable. I like to be active and move around this allows me to do so. Setup is a snap and the sync feature allows you to scan for all available (clean) frequencies in the area you are in. This entire process takes about 2 minutes once you are familiar with it. You should not have to do this, but I recommend it if you are going to a place for the first time. You can depend on this unit. The transmitter has a feel of quality, I especially like the cable that goes into it, it is threaded so that once you attach it to the transmitter you know that it will stay put. Just connect the other end and you are set. This rig is dead silent until you play. There is no clipping and your guitar and amp will respond as it did with a cable, proximity and distance are not affected. This is the Real Deal, and for this price point you will not be disappointed. I did the 8 payment plan and if you can do so too, I recommend you do so. Enjoy CJWIII

The Sennheiser 172G3 is great. I play in several bands, including church, and rarely do we have a person to run the sound. This unit allows me to get out in front of the mains and set the sound so I know that the audience is hearing what I get to hear in my ear monitors. This unit has many frequencies and scans the room for the least used frequencies so this is no crossover problems. The quality is exactly what I had hoped for!! I would buy another one today knowing what I now know.

I no longer feel attached to a wire on stage. After "many" years of performing live, I finally have a piece of wireless equipment I can trust 100%. I use Fender basses with an Ampeg rig. The Sennheiser ew 172G3 wireless system has changed my life!

I'm a bass player for 30yrs, I've used different brands of wireless ( shure, akg, nady, samson, audio technica, line 6 etc ) this Sennhieser ew 172G3 is best I've ever had, you will not be dissapointed, it's like you you are plugged in a monster cable, no signal loss, crystal clear.
