I have always been and will probably be a Schecter guitar user. I thoroughly love this bass. It comes fully set up from the factory and ready to shred. The low action is set up perfectly and the pickups are powerful. I said this before and I will say it again, I will stack this or any other Schecter against an American-made Fender or Gibson anytime.

Not only does this bass look great it's built super well. It oozes with quality when you pick it up right down to the setup. First time I can say that a bass came to me set up too low for my liking.

I use this bass from the comfort of my home so I can't speak for performers when I say that this is one of THE best basses I have ever played. The neck allows your hand to glide like butter and the overall play-ability is fantastic. The only problem I've had with it is the bridge saddles move around when changing the strings so it needs re-adjustment, but a Allen wrench fixes that problem just fine. Overall the bass is solid and I highly recommend buying one if you're looking for a mid-level bass.

As a long time player and lover of the bass, I have always bypassed Schecter and gone for more familiar bass manufacturers. This one, however, caught my eye. After hearing some online demo vids and reading up on it, I decided to give one a try. I am truly happy that I did. This bass arrived from the factory and was ready to play. The frets were even and filed quite nicely. I set it up how I like my basses (pretty low action) with zero issues. Getting a full setup of EMG's at this price point is a great selling point too. Great tone and very even output. The neck has a great profile and a very nice finish. It is very easy to navigate. I have owned it for about two months now and I can truly say that I am happy with this bass!!

I've been a bassist for 40 of my 50 years, I've owned probably 35 basses throughout these 40 years and this Schecter Model-T is by far the best value and "Set Up-To-Play" bass I've ever unboxed...The feel, the tone, the looks and playability are all boutique quality at a price that is unbeatable...If you're a beginner or a pro, I would highly suggest this as a first bass guitar or an addition to your arsenal...

Classic look but with a tonal range that goes from snappy and bright and back to the classic basics. I used it on 4 jobs last week and it cut thru the band and the acoustics of each and every room and best of all with no hum.I have many basses but in all honesty t I currently do not want to put this one down. Also EMG PU'S growl big time and especially when using in the bridge Pickup
Sound
It works for me in all the venues that I took it out to in my first week of ownership
Features
the bass and treble control and ability to pan.
Ease of Use
I have the action real low and no buzzes and by the way the frets were rolled off very nice and smooth.
Quality
it is a great looking slab and with this finish I don't see any fingerprints or smudges after use and once again the hardware is of rock solid quality.
Value
great comparative value considering initial quality---let's see how she holds up.
Manufacturer Support
I like zzounds---I actually ordered one from MF but returned it because not only was it defective sonically but it was visibly B stock that they tried to push off on me.
The Wow Factor
I love the telecaster slab body look along with the wide range of sounds offered at my chubby little fingertips.

Musical Background:

long time pro
