Sound:
The guitar sounds great. I really had no doubts since it contains the trademarks usually only found in a guitar costing much more. In fact it is. I play for the fun of it so I do not feel qualified to review the sound in a professional manner. I will say however, I do, or have owned many guitars in the thousand dollar price range. This one rides up there with the best of them. Check the new prices on Schecter guitars for a real sticker shock. Same guitar different paint 800+ and rising.
Feature:
One of the things that impressed me about Schecter was the quality of components used, right down to the strings. The body is made of mahogany with a Burl maple top. The pickups are EMG-81/85 courtesy Zakk Wylde. Nut is Graftec. Tuners are Grover black chrome strung with DAddario xl's. TonePros Thru-Body bridge. Only problem is what will I upgrade it with if it already has everything a guitar in this price range would be lacking. If you add the prices up without the body, neck, finish, etc. Well you do not have to smack me in the face too many times until I realize this is a deal that does not come along too often. Get one while you can as numbers were in low double digits as of last week. Amber is out everywhere and Bloodred has stablized and prices are rising as you read this. 02/11/2010 4:11am. tic,tic,tic.
Ease of Use:
I love this guitar. Its not about the great looks, finish, parts used, but about the way it feels in my hands. This is the first time I have picked up a guitar and was comfortable holding it. The rest of it is all just gravy to me. I have always felt like I was straining to get my fingers in position. The devil just smiles and says play me. This is only the second review I have written in the past year, but felt obliged to do this one. Hope you get it in time. I have been following the Devil for a while now and noticed the bloodred model is now up in price equal to green burst, Amber is gone. tic, tic, .
Quality:
OK not everything in the world is perfect. In my quest of the Devil I read almost every review I could find. One of the few complaints I discovered was once in a while the knobs were not perfectly fitted. This was also true of mine. I am sure this could be fixed very easily but it is so small an issue I choose to just live with it. I had to look for it to find it. Other than that I would have given it a 10.
Value:
I have been watching and waiting for this guitar for awhile ( over 6 months ). Just got lucky and caught the sale.
Manufacturer Support:
Never needed it. I have heard from others that it is of high quality.
Overall:
Only gave a nine because of the misaligned knobs.

Feature:
Everything Schecter put in this guitar is great. The only thing I changed is the pick-ups. The EMG's are great, but I prefer Seymour Duncan Invaders. Either way, you can't go wrong.
Ease of Use:
The feel is amazing! It just fits. Plain and simple.
Quality:
Very durable. My daughter once knocked it off the stand on a tile floor and not even a scratch!
Value:
Buying at full price would even be worth it. But zZounds.com has the best prices on the net!
