Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
I wont go back to a solid body guitar. The sustain on this instrument is incredible. Everything from Country, Blues to Heavy metal sound Excellent on it. Especially when playing songs from AC/DC! Incredible!
Ease of Use
Chord changeups, and fretwork are alot faster with this guitar. I use this Guitar with a LIne 6 Amp and the sound is second to none.
Quality
I will use this Guitar for playing live. The strings stay in tune, and Its perfectly dependable. I bought a used model, and couldnt be happier.

Schecter C-1 E/A Guitar Customer Review

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I'll never get rid of this guitar.. at least not until I get rid of everything else and move to the woods, or die.. whichever comes first
Sound
In a word: versatile. You can really get some unique sounds out of this guitar with the ability to mix the input from the various pickups. It is a great guitar for most music styles from bluegrass to death metal.
Features
This is a very well built instrument with some hard to match capabilities. You can pay a couple of thousand dollars more to get an instrument that is no more dependable, functional or versatile than this.
Quality
Very well built. The finish is beautiful and the guitar feels really solid, but it's also light weight. The action was great right out of the box. There are a couple of "blemishes" around the binding, but for less than $700.00, I'm lucky to get binding at all.
Value
Can't beat it. Can't even come close at this price.
Manufacturer Support
My guitar functioned perfectly right out of the box. I have not had the need to contact the company for anything, but if their service is as good as the value, I'm sure they are top notch.... but I may be wrong. I'll let everyone know if that's the case.

"You won't find a better value!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
Considering it was purchased as a gift, I truly hate to give it. I own some nice guitars, and this one will be my next.
Sound
I usually don't write reviews, since most of the others put it as good or better than I could. I have a commercial studio, recording radio jingles. Bought this guitar used as a gift, not being told that it was technically the C-1 E/A, with a piezo pickup. After setting it up with 11's, (intonation, etc.), I can't believe the sound of this thing. It is comparable to my 88' Guild Nightbird GG. Further, the guitar has a top-end that--no kidding-- reminds me of a Richenbacher. Going (sraight) through a Twin, a Marshal, and a Mesa, it totally holds it's own. The possibilities for sound shaping are vast with the possible "stereo" option using the piezo jack.
Features
Running the piezo jack into a Fender Acoustic amp, then mixing the sounds gives you all kinds of textures.
Ease of Use
Like a charm, just keep the piezo battery up.
Quality
Very well made. The neck (to me at least) is roughly a cross between a Gibson and Fender. Very freindly, can't find a dead spot on it.
Value
The value is unmatched. Best buy for the money.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't had to deal with em.
The Wow Factor
This particular model has a tobacco curly Mahogany top. No scratches or dings.

"The C1-E/A... Have your cake and eat it too."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
I'm sure I will yield many years out of this guitar, but I am always looking for new sounds. It is my main guitar right now, I do supplement it with a couple of my other favorites but what can I say. Each guitar has a different soul and I'm happy with the one this ones got. If it was lost, I would get another of the same if I could. It along with many others helps me obtain my musical goals.
Sound
the c1-e/a is a true instant classic, a refreshing and innovative addition to my collection. I love the acoustic/electric blend option because I have sought out ways to do this without needing two seperate amps and the c1-e/a captures this idea nicely. I usually play through a line6 flextone III,or a fender twin reverb and this guitar stands up to both setups and enhances my playing experience. The frets were nice and even, the grover tuners are rugged, the finish is gorgeous. Also, being a hollow body helps for the incredible sustain that is achieved here, along with clarity yet warmth. A great idea...a great guitar...a more than fair price for all the tonal possibilities and expert craftmanship.
Features
it did include grover tuners,
Quality
as far as i can tell this guitar was made with alot of attention to feel and cosmetics. It was instantly comfortable to play, fast neck, nice sustain and clear yet warm tonality. I do rely on this guitar mainly because of the versatility of tonal textures that can be achieved. It's alot easier to turn a knob than to switch guitars in the middle of a set.my only gripe was the color choices.
Value
yes it is worth it. every penny...
Manufacturer Support
i have not yet dealt with the company because I have not had any problems with this guitar. I love it.
The Wow Factor
honestly, it's mainly a practical addition to my setup, but it has a classy, sleek, old vibe to it that makes it more. Okay...I guess you could call it sexy, but i call it classic/retro/contemporary. yes, I could make music without it but why?

"Schecter Rocks"

This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
I would definatly buy this again, and again, and again. Of course I won't need to because the this thing is rock solid, You can't come close to the value of a Schecter
Sound
The Electric sound on this is Great, from smooth and mellow to hard and heavy, not so much of a screamer, but I don't care for that anyway. The Piezo can get a little tinny in the highs and very bassy and uncontrolled when played with open chords, in my opinion its more of a novelty
Features
The wood and craftmanship is beautiful, Elec. componants are great.
Ease of Use
The best playing guitar I've layed fingers on, STRAIGHT from the BOX!!!
Quality
I've had mine 2 yrs. and play every weekend and then some, it still works like the day it came home
Value
Nothing better for your Money

"Great Guitar!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

Sound
This guitar sounds really awsome, especially the acoustic part.
Features
I like how it has 2 output holes, one for the acoustic and electric pickups and one for only the electric.
Quality
Built very well, not a cheap piece of junk like one would expect from many other guitars.
Value
Great guitar for what you pay.

"The great guitar that I have ."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
I searched the guitar before I buy it. I m choosing the 3 guitar with piezo, like Peavy Generation EXP, Ibanez SA420, and Schecter C-1 E/A, well the choose the best, I get with a good deal with free Hard shell case, If you compared it with quality of the guitar this is the best, you will compare the sounds in any high price guitars. Dont waste your money in any guitar that this guitar is the best price for $700.00 with free case. get this guitar..........you eill love it...buddy
Sound
This guitar is awesome, i never heard this like this before, somebody play this guitar in the music store and really amazed that day, It sounds like real acoustic guitar when you play it. this is really awesome guitar. I really looking for the guitar, Im choosing the Peavy generation EXP with piezo, Ibanez SA420 with Piezo , and the Schecter C-1 E/A, so I choose the Schecter C-1 E/A. the best on its class.
Features
The feature of this guitar is like the PRS hollow body. this is awesome guitar buy it.
Quality
The quality are the best parts thay they used, from RMC piezo-loaded TonePros bridge. The Duncan Design humbuckers and the piezo signal can be played separately or combined together for exciting new tonal possibilities. This is a set-neck guitar with a quilted maple top, mahogany body, Grover tuners and 22 jumbo frets.
Value
the Value is very worth to compare the other guitars that price are too high and you cann't proud of it. But this guitar is very valuable just give it a try for 30 days and you will not regret it.
Manufacturer Support
Well I call once for questioning bout the product it self and they explained it briefly, yup they are friendly.
The Wow Factor
Oh men this the sexiest guitar that i ever see. Nice color sun burst and even the color black. I don't think this is Korean made I thought this is US made guitar.
