Feature:
What can you say, it is a standard unit. It does has an auto attack/release that can be useful in live work. The gate is very nice, and smooth, may be it's best nob.

Quality:
Very strong build. It could take some pounding. Good for live work, or project studios.

Value:
For the price this is a very good unit. If I were you I would have at least one in the rack to play with.

Desirability:
It looks great. It has flashing lights and looks nice.

Sound:
Sounds good, but I have worked with much better. But for the price it does what it should and nothing more. If record levels where to hot on some instrment (Like the Bass) when tracking with out compression, latter compression may create a click. However, this can be avoied by paying attentiton to level setting. It was just a warning. I found this product to be some what touchy in this respect. It will click with some instraments and not with others. Over all, it's a nice unit for a very low price. It has all the trimings. Good for project studio use, but not a pro level sound.

Overall:
I like it enough to have one in the rack at all times. I am not sure if I would get lots of them. It's best use is found in the Gate. It controls leakage very well. Great on drums.
