Feature:
Multiple patterns that pick up well like they are supposed to, a nice solid base to set it down, and a clip for a laptop - this little mic is nicely set up. I also like the ability to directly monitor via headphones.
Quality:
Seems sturdy. It is still a small instrument and should be treated appropriately, but it feels very solid.
Value:
I could not find something even close for the price.
Desirability:
It is very nice looking, and the "cool" factor is high. My friend who has the large condenser mic, and other serious recording gear, was very impressed by this little mic. Even the case that it comes with is very nice.
Sound:
The sound is great for such a little, low cost microphone. I use it to record acoustic/classical guitar. I have recently used my friends large diaphragm condenser mic, and the Go Mic doesn't sound quite as full as that mic. It is nice and clean sounding, and does provide a recording that is very close to true sound.
Ease of Use:
Very intuitive, just plug it in and wait a minute until it tells you that your device is ready.
Support:
I have only dealt with Cakewalk support (for the included Music Creator LE software). I have had some problems getting the software to work correctly on my Windows Vista 32 bit with SP3. But their email support has been good, they respond quickly.
Overall:
I expect to use this mic for a long time to come. I use it to record practice sessions, lessons, audio for videos, and possibly for some demo audio tracks. It is easy to carry, easy to use, and just plain works. I needed something to record clean, quality, true sounding audio, and this mic just works!
