Sabian HHX Omni Crash Ride Cymbal

The Sabian HHX Omni is like two cymbals in one -- its jumbo-hammered center and bell makes an articulate ride sound, while its thin edge makes a great crash.

This unit has a great sound, even as a crash. Its hand hammered so it has a darker sound than an AAX or AA. This comes in handy not to overpower your OH microphones. It cuts through the mix very well bow middle or bell. You just have to adjust your playing position for where you are at in the composition. it opens up nice and has a great sustain.

Musical Background:

35 years, playing every type of music imaginable.

Musical Style:

I gravitate to prog rock, odd time signatures and great musicianship. Daddy likes him some blues though...
