Feature:
almost every parameter you can think of in order to change the sensitivity, the tone, and volume of each individual pad is available.
Quality:
great quality. i beat up on this thing almost every day, and for the last seven months they have been nothing short of strong and dependable.
Value:
this is the area that i frown on the most. it is an incredibly large commitment to spend this much on a drum set, however, you would never get the variety and versatility of this product with other aucoustic pieces for the same price.
Desirability:
very sexy :)
Sound:
I suggest that you demo one of these if youre unshure about buying one. i play mine through a berringer keyboard monitor, and its great.
Ease of Use:
amazingly easy to use. i thought that i was going to be dumbfounded by all the available features, however, the quick start guide was enough to get me going at first.
Support:
i havent needed any type of customer service as of yet.
Overall:
i am very pleased with this product and its always easier to point out flaws than to say what you like about the product. that being said, i wish i would have known how bad the kick pad is, especially for doublebass. i got so frustriated with the thing that i only go single bass, so the beater would hit the sensor directly in the middle. there is one thing to point out, even if you crank the sensitivity up on the kickpad via the module, double bass will still never sound as good as hitting the same pad with the single bass. i am currently in the process of getting their kd12 to replace it and atart playing double bass again. i also want to get something else for the hi-hat, not that its bad, i just need something more realistic. other than that, i really love this thing and i also want to add one more "cymbal" and "floor tom."
