Sound: It is a winner! It is currently priced way under value! Feature: Level setting is simple and the unit can handle very hot signals. The pre record is also useful. Great sounding mic's onboard and superior Roland Build Ease of Use: It is as simple as a unit with a ton of features/options can be. You can let it set and ride it's own levels or set your own w/wo limiter and bass cut. It is a s easy or complecated as you wish it to be! You can record 24bit Wave and MP3 at once! It will also record 96K per second at 24 bit which is higher quality than you will likely use in your Pro Tools studio should you want breathtaking realism (with huge files). Quality: It is obvious with all Roland gear that real world use is a #1 concern. Although small in size, the unit is ruggedly built and well fitted Value: This Item is currently reduced in price and a much better investment than competing units by Tascam and Zoom. You cannot go wrong with Roland and at this price, it is stupid to buy any other similar unit. This thing smokes them! Manufacturer Support: Never needed tech support on any Roland product since 1978! The Wow Factor: Ease of use and great features with a great sale price. Just buy one like I did and you will be glad you bought the real deal when it's time to mix! Overall: I do not expect to explore mini recorders again until the sampling rates and memory storage at least double. The sound is so good now, I see no point in improving on it-
