Feature:
My only qualm is the size of the unit. It's big even when folded down, and I am a touring musician who flies to shows...so I wanted a tiny unit like a KD-7 as a kick sample trigger... but when I couldn't find one, I had to get this. It performs like a champ, but doesn't break down small enough. it needs another hinge or something, so it could fold up even smaller.

Value:
It's cheaper than the drum-style mesh triggers, and worth every penny at full price.

Desirability:
It's slightly lacking in the sex appeal department, and it wasn't my first choice, but I'm glad I got it.

Sound:
Since it's a trigger, it obviously SHOULDN'T make a sound, so in that respect, it's pretty quiet. It retains sensitivity with soft beaters, so you are fine if you need it quieter.

Ease of Use:
Plug and play!

Overall:
Roland are masters of electronic drums. They will continue to be my favorite!

Feature:
Not bad for the price

Quality:
Seems very sturdy and I use heavy wood beaters on a double kick!

Value:
Good deal for the price, almost a third of the higher end mesh triggers.

Sound:
took a while to figure out the sensitivity settings on my Yamaha DTX

Overall:
I just practice on my electronic set and should be able to really bone up on my double bass chops.

What can I say guys, Roland rules.

Value:
Good value for the price. It's a lot better than the KD-7 in terms of looks and feel!

I will surely purchase this item as soon as I save some extra money.

Sound:
I never actually played it so I can only speculate here. Overall, Roland has been coming out with great gear so relax. This trigger pad will probably sound the best depending on the module used.
