for less! for less than what you'd pay for just the PG-300 controller for the JX-3P you get a knob-per-function, battery powered synth module that you can take wit you as well as hook up to all your gear. If sounds very close to the original, complete with noise on the chorus, and yet you dont have to worry about a capacitor dying in the PSU a week after you buy it, or having to find another CPU board or some other rare part that ends up costing as much as you paid for the synth.

I have had my eye on this and the JP-08 for some time, though I was more drawn to this because I love knobs! When I saw the price drop down to a mere 199 dollars, practically Volca price range, I knew I had to get this. It was so worth it, I have 0 regrets. You can really make this synth achieve some screaming leads. You can get powerful boomy bass. You can get subtle dreamy pads. I have no idea how close this comes to the original, but I am very satisfied for the price I paid. 200 dollars for a synth of this caliber is a no brainer. Buy this amazing synth!
