"Too bad the Juno Stage is Discontinued...It's a GREAT Keyboard!!!"

The Juno Stage should fit my needs for years to come. I would love to get a Nord but like others it is out of my price range, but the Juno Stage is close behind it...If someone stole it I would definitely buy another Juno Stage even used...
Sound
The Roland Juno Stage has the best piano sounds I've heard IMO just as good as Nord. I was looking at the Stage and the Juno Gi...The Gi does have an 8 track recorder but it is NOT geared toward the working musician and live playing. The Gi does sound great but is more along the lines of a workstation and it is not expandable..the sounds you get with the Gi is all you get... With the Juno Stage it has 2 SRX slots to add more sound libraries. Both keyboards have the "Fantom" engine in them but the stage is a beast. The velocity with the semi-weighted keys sound absolutely amazing. Again the pianos will blow your mind, don't get me wrong ALL the sounds sound amazing. It's a shame this model is being discontinued, I didn't care from what I read about this keyboard it was exactly what I needed....
Features
The Juno Stage care with editing software as well as a copy of Sonar LE.
Ease of Use
Everything you need to modify the sounds is right at your fingertips
Quality
This keyboard is well made. If I have it for a few years and it broke, I would look for another used Stage to replace it. This keyboard along with the Juno G are made for the road and are exactly what one needs to play live.
Value
The price of the Juno Stage beat out all others Yamaha Mo6 and a bunch of others. I sold my Triton after getting the Stage because it sounded like a toy compared to the Stage..
Manufacturer Support
I have called Roland just to ask a couple questions, even left my name and phone number with the promise of the automated recording someone would call me back...Haven';t heard from them at all...So I bet either they are getting ready for NAAM or they just didn't feel the need to call me back. Either way it's kinda disappointing and I hope this doesn't reflect how their support actually is.
The Wow Factor
It's a Keyboard but the Pianos will make you wet your pants...

"Roland Keys"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I’ve owned this keyboard for three years now. I have only one complaint that the pianos are not very rich. They are a little thin. The rest of the sounds are great. I use the horns a lot with my band and they blow a lot of people who have brass sections away with their sound. The organ sounds are just as great. I do use a Roland VK 8m Tone wheel generator emulator midi into the 76. That unit is awesome as well. I mix the onboard organ with the VK8m and everyone thinks I have a B3. I also use a Hughes and Ketner Leslie emulator. That is the best emulator I have ever owned. Real close to the real thing. But on with the 76. The overall sound is excellent. No complains except the piano. Support: I have issues I have call a few times and got right through. The engineers I talked to helped me with many questions and answered all my concerns. A+ support Thw WOW factor lyes soldily with the horn sections and organ voiceings. An Incredable keyborad. I have owned a few other Roland keys and all of them performed and out performed the best.

"Roland Juno Stage Review"

Overall: 3.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Overall this keyboard does exactly what it says. Loads of sound designed for the stage. 76 keys and light to carry. If you want a studio keyboard get the Korg M50.
Sound
Okay let me start by saying the sound is great. The main pros for this board are the vast selection of sounds. There is just everything you could want from a high quality grand piano to hammond sounds with rotary effects. Tons of synths, drums etc. 3 multi effect processors, EQ and a nice screen to edit. The software editor is pretty cool too. Now that's the sounds, onto the song player. I wasn't impressed with that. I wanted it to be great but it's not. It takes over the processor so when you play along the keyboard has a latency effect which makes it annoying to play. The Standard Midi Files work pretty good but stay away from audio files. Oh there is a jack input for external MP3 etc. That works well.
Features
Features. Well there's no sequencer but it was designed to be a workstation. It can be difficult to program new sounds. This really is a gigging keyboard. The keys are nice when they work!!! Now here was my problem and a few other people from what I've read. Some of the keys don't work properly on some of the junos and that means sending them back for replacement. Other than that the 76 semi-weighted keys are nice to play. Only L/R outputs. Restrictive. There is an output for the song-player as a stereo jack. Probably won't use that at all. The Operating system sometimes fails to boot properly and you just get a crazy digital distortion when you play the keys. Not a big deal. Just switch it off and on again.
Ease of Use
It is very easy to use in general.
Quality
The quality needs to be improved. Not good from roland, you expect to get a proper working keyboard when you're paying proper money. Even Casio keyboards have few flaws. So what's the story?
Value
I think this keyboard is value for money if it's working properly. That's all...
Manufacturer Support
Sent my faulty board back to Thomann for replacement. Very helpful and quick.
