A good practice amp with lots of fun effects. Powerful output. Rugged construction. The power squeezer is useful for keeping neighbors away from your door. It works with the iPod and Bose headphones. Be careful to turn all controls to zero before plugging in and turning on. Otherwise you might get a sound blast that will send you to the Emergency Room with bleeding ears. Nifty amp. Lightweight. Add a footswitch (e.g. B0SS FS-5U) to move between solo and other settings easily. Might work as a stage amp in a small setting.

This was also highly recommended by my instructor. It is more than enough for a practice amp. All the setting on this will keep me busy for awhile. Love how much power it has but does not take up much of the little space I have. The only issue I have so far is being able to use the tuner. Other than that, everything is cake. I can hook up my .MP3 player to it and jam along with it. I don't have a need for all the settings, But it's cool that there their. May buy another for a friend around X-mas.

I tried every pedal and amp simulator out there but they either didn't have "feel" of a amp or were too difficult to tweak on the fly. I plug my Cube 20XL directly into my board, set a clean volume and a lead sound and just play. If I need to adjust anything it's a quick turn of a knob. I do find it best to engage the power soak button. Simple to use and I get to concentrate on my playing!
