Feature:
Well lets start with the non-contact magnetic crossfader and up faders...yes all 3 are non-contact and rated at 13 million cycles and still no problems.....check out RANES web site. It has a wet and dry feature for each chanel so you can make some cool sounds while scratching.Curve adjustments for both up faders and crossfader. Reverse, slope adjustments.....just all around nice
Quality:
Only reason I didn't give it a 10 is beacuse no one get's a 10. Quality product built like a tank, this is the SL1200 of battle mixers. The other nice feature is that the faceplate has a thin plastic like cover that protects the paint on the mixer from being worn off by us heavy scratch dj's, nice little move there.Road ready and rugged. You should see the Coke test done on this mixer. Check out RANE.com to see it.
Value:
Price is the only knock I have on this mixer....being out for some time now I would have liked to see the price a little lower. BUT it's a mixer you will use for a very long time...very long time
Desirability:
Good mixer.....plus you can purcahse colored face plates to customise it to your liking......of course these cost $50 but hey it may be a small price to pay to get a Blue,Red,Purple Rane TTM-56
Sound:
It's RANE.....sound is wonderful and full.Much more power than the Vestax PMC05 PROIII that I had. Full kills on all 3 eq's
Ease of Use:
Very easy to use...perfect for the turntablist and even the mix dj.
Support:
RANE prides itself on customer service.....very responsive and great to work with. I callled them last week about SERATO and they were very helpful
Overall:
Most likely the last battle mixer I'll need to buy.
