"Really good kick drum head"

I am using this with an Ebony Powerstroke 3 Resonant head (no hole) and an Evans EQ Pad touching the batter head. I am not into a thud sound, so I muffle the kick enough to control it, but still have a full tone. I would describe it as a solid, controlled boom. Powerstrokes are hard to beat. Fairly easy to get in tune and the quality is top notch. Probably my favorite Remo head.
