8 out of 10Feature:
These are nice looking racks that seem sturdier than I would have thought for the materials it is made of. Rails are heavy duty and I have them maxed out with no wobbling or cracking.
Quality:
I bought two at the same time but they are not the exact same height! Yes I can get the 20 spaces but they sit flat on the floor with about 3/8" difference in the overall height. Not sure what was going on in the factory when they cut the sides out but this put a wrinkle in my plans to place them side by side. Otherwise it would look like some cheap jackleg I built.
Value:
I have the black racks which look nice with the wood grain along side my maple/black work desk. They get the job done for a fraction of the steel racks and look good overall.
Desirability:
Black is sexy! Especially in the edit suite under medium lights!
Ease of Use:
It appears that someone took the time to really engineer the hardware as to lend the best stability from the 'pressed board' main structure. I took my time to assemble them and it took about 30 mins to turn all the screws by hand.
Overall:
I only dropped my score because of the obvious quality control problem if two 'identical' units are not the same height!!!!
