Feature:
Super-fast processor, aluminum chassis, Windows XP Pro, Almost a terabyte of hard drive space, very very quiet, etc, etc.
Quality:
Came without any nicks or dents, started smoothly, completely compatible with my software.
Value:
A little pricey, but all in all, well worth what I paid for.
Desirability:
Looks sexy, built sturdy, and runs smoothly and quietly.
Sound:
Of course it's your mixer and equipment that make or break the sound. This computer is so streamlined and stripped down that you can run vst plug-ins and effects up the ying-yang with very little latency.
The drives are partitioned in such a way as to keep the system files separate from your music and allow for backup of your files in case of a hard drive malfunction.
Ease of Use:
Preloaded with Windows XP Pro, so you don't need to do any tinkering. Everything is straight forward and there is documentation that explains the provided applications.
Support:
Haven't needed (and not expect to) any support, but they boast good customer service, and judging by the package here, they probably offer very good service. I will rate it 10 for the benefit of the doubt.
Overall:
Very pleased with this bad boy, I don't expect anything to happen to this thing, and if it did down the long run, I would be happy to purchase another Rain product. These guys obviously know what they are doing.
