Quality:
Very sturdy and a little heavy since it's made of steel. Workmanship is very good and has a high-tech look. I ordered the back rest after the fact. Didn't think I would need it for piano, but it adds great support when you want to lean back a little.

Desirability:
Good practical addition, but it looks very high-tech.

Overall:
Like its look and the range of height adjustments. Can be used as a high stool or a low seat. A little heavy.

Quality:
This is junk. After receiving I had to take it to a welder to have parts taken off and rewelded to get it to fit. JunK JunK JunK. Made in Italy... An embarrassment to the country.
