Feature:
I really like the pickups, all three of them, the sounds you can create are amazing. And I've never found another guitar brand that can do the same.
Quality:
Excellent workman ship excellent quality of everything. And I've had it long enough to have banged it around a bit knocked it over and dropped it once or twice without anything going wrong, just pick it up and start playing again. It's one of the most beautiful guitars I've owned, flawless finish, incredible tone wood in the body. I get the feeling you wuold really have to work at hurting it to make it unplayable.
Value:
Even at the full suggested retail price this is more than worth it, you could spend a thousand or two more but I don't think you would be getting anything better.
Desirability:
This is not a run of the mill fender knock off like almost everything out there, you either like it or you don't, me I really like it. Why would you want ordinary when you could have a Parker is beyond me. It has SEX appeal, you can hold it caress it it feels so good, and it loves you back.
Sound:
The sound is amazing and that's because of the wood. Sometimes I play it unplugged just to feel the sound and I do mean feel it, the whole guitar vibrates with tone. But plug it in and the sound explodes out of the speakers.
Ease of Use:
Take a few minutes to read the instructions and you are off on the adventure of a lifetime. Or just jump right in a go exploring. It's not complicated but does offer a wide variety of sounds when you learn the controls, takes about 2 minutes or less.
Playability is incredible
Support:
I wrote them a few times and got answers back by the next day or sooner.
They seem dedicated to being there and doing the right thing, making happy guitar players.
Overall:
I've played a Hagstrom since 1965 and was sure the world would never build a better playing guitar, the P44 is right on par with that old Swedish craftmanship and I doubt I'll live long enough for anyone to create something better. I've tried lots of other brands over the years and none stood up to comparison, oh they were good but not as good for down right playing. It's just hard to improve upon perfection.
You could change the pickups to any of the 6000 different ones they make today if you NEED some different specific sound I guess, but you couldn't put them on a better guitar. If this got stolen or destroyed I would rush right out and get a new one.
