No desire to look for anything new. In fact, if it were stolen I would buy another just like it. I doubt that it will break.
Sound
The sound quality is top notch. It's transparent and adds no noise. With all of the settings for input levels, trim controls, etc you can use it for any music source with no problem. I usually use it with a computer, 2 cd players and 2 microphones. The built in processor is great for making a lower quality music source like an ipod sound acceptable. I use the "ducker" every gig. I don't use the mic sound effects, and I haven't made use of the zone feature yet, but will when I run two seperate sound systems.
Features
Everything you need for professional DJ use. The built in interface, allowing your computer to go direct in using a conputer cable is great. It worked perfect with the DJ software I use. Everything feels top quality as far as construction is concerned. If it were stolen, I would buy the exact same model again. I DJ professionaly every weekend.
Ease of Use
Plug it in, hook it up to your equipment and then play around with it for about an hour. That's about all it took for me to figure it out. I'm still finding new features that I didn't notice earlier, but the most important ones were easy to figure out quickly.
Quality
Pioneer has taken over the DJ market for higher end gear. They figured out that quality sells. Dennon, the leader a few years back is now second to Pioneer. (Still good though.)
Value
You get what you pay for. I would rather pay $1000 for something really good and reliable than $500 for something mediocre. it's money well spent, and I paid for it in one night of work.
Manufacturer Support
I've never dealt with them on the phone or by email so I can't honestly answer that. The manual is written clearly and in plain English with no weird translation problems.
The Wow Factor
I just love it.
